Horrible experience
My stay at the Dylan was very unfortunate. An employee of mine was eating french fries in the front yard while we waited for a taxi. After seeing many other hotel guests eat french fries in the same area, my (non white) employee was asked to leave. This seemed targeted and aggressive. The hotel refused to apologize, stood their ground that it’s ok for some guests to eat in the yard but not others, and they can enforce on whoever they like. The Dylan should be ashamed and are an insult to the location’s history of feeding the poor and elderly. Shame on them and shame on the general manager for refusing to even apologize. Seems their empathy is reserved for elderly, white guests. If you are against classism and racism, don’t support this business.

Great hotel with celiac safe accommodations
Everyone at the Dylan was helpful, informative and gracious, providing little extras and care throughout our stay. I manage celiac disease and they did an excellent job accommodating my dietary needs and preparing specific safe and delicious foods for our morning breakfast. The room was spacious and well appointed with the ability to open windows for fresh air. It was perfectly located within walking distance to many key activities and venues we wanted to see while in Amsterdam. Highly recommend it!

An Oasis of Luxury
From the moment our chauffeur collected us at Schipol Airport we knew we had made a great choice of Hotel. The Dylan Hotel is centrally located and provides an oasis of tranquility and luxury which was all the more welcome during this period of hot, dry weather. Staff and management are ever present to provide operational assistance as well as local knowledge and expertise to navigate and enjoy the best of Amsterdam. We enjoyed both drinks and dinner in the Occo Bar and Restaurant as well as breakfast both of high quality and served with a friendly professionalism throughout. We would put The Dylan Hotel easily within the top 5 Hotels where we have stayed. You would never get the same bespoke service or quality at a large city Hotel.

A wonderful stay in Amsterdam
Staying in The Dylan one more time was simply amazin! Hotel and staff are nice and full of "hostability". Location could not be better. Rooms are very confortable in terms of space and resources. It does worth its value! Concierge always available to help indicating the best options and making reservations. Calm, quiet, peaceful and clean ambiance. Amenities from AESOP is simply the best! Really want to comeback!

Great stay at Dylan
Good location. Nice, clean rooms. Overall a very nice hotel. Excellent staff, who make you feel welcomed and special. Great breakfast. We ate at Occo bar and brasserie and at Vinekeles. Superb food. Vinkeles a really enjoyful evening:) We had a baby with us, 21 months, a great stay with a baby:)
