My staying was from 16th to 20th Nov 2025. The hotel is nice even is a bit out of everything but still can walk to the most famous Rijks and Van Gogh museums. We found the staff Putti is quite inexperienced, she gave a wrong information to my partner when he asked her how far from here (this hotel) to Hyatt Regency hotel? And she told my partner he needs to take uber (car) there since it's quite far and it'll take around 15mins. However, we doubled check google map and found that it's actually very closed by so we decided to take a walk and eventually it only took us 3 minutes there by walk!🙄 Oh My God!!! Putti shouldn't have given us a wrong information if she doesn't know! Another staff also made a mistake and kinda pissed us off! He's the concierge ' Peter, We booked ticket for Rijksmuseum on our arrival date through him but he completely forgot to email us. Our tickets booked at 11am but he completely forgot to send us the tickets by emails so we'd to call the hotel right outside the museum, however no one pick up the phone after 20 minutes ringing, at the same time I emailed him twice and reminded Peter to send us the tickets but still no reply! We wait, we wait and wait until 10:52am (ticket time was 11am), so we had no choice but need to take Uber back to the hotel and ask for our tickets. Just right after we went back to the hotel, we finally received his email with two Rijksmuseum tickets 😤 So we had to ask the driver send us back to the museum and of course we'd to pay as two way fees 🤦🏻♀️ Don't get me wrong, he's nice but he isn't helpful at all. Luckily we met a super nice and helpful staff called Abe, a young guy who is smart, helpful and efficient. He also recommend two good restaurants and nice coffee shop to us! He's def a treasure to your hotel! I'm so glad he's there, without him I guess we may need to do more research by ourselves!

We stayed here end of October. We ended up cutting our stay short due to the standards of the room and bed comfort, which was incredibly disappointing. I definitely would not pick this hotel based off of what you see on TripAdvisor and Instagram. I had done quite a bit of research on it before selecting this hotel option for us, and it did not line up at all with what we encountered. I mean this in a polite way, but if you are coming from the States, then this hotel is more like a solid three or 3 1/2 star. The pros are the staff are polite and the lobby is pretty. The cons are that the bedrooms are not maintained at all to the standards of the hotels “ratings”. It’s like they haven’t done any upkeep since opening the hotel, literally. The beds are rock hard. The rooms have a musty smell that makes your items smell. Would not recommend this hotel.

Without a doubt one of the finest hotels we have stayed in. From the outstanding service provided by the staff, beautiful facilities, including fitness centre and pool, and spacious rooms this property is a real treat! We enjoyed an outstanding cote de boeuf dinner in the Amstel Lounge and finished up our evening in the brassiere bar. Both facilities offering fantastic canal views. Beautiful property! Highly recommend!
