True European luxury and outstanding service
Outstanding European style hotel with old world charm and spectacular canal views. Center of Amsterdam is a short walk or tram ride away, so the immediate hotel area is a bit quiet, but the service and amenities are outstanding. Breakfast was excellent and the wait staff is incredibly attentive. Bartender is also expert in the evening and the outside patio is beautiful.

Beautiful old Hotel in wonderful condition
We really liked our visit to Amsterdam and our stay at this hotel. The Service and the people were really wonderful. The Hotel has lots of character and is beautifully presented. The pool on the lower floor is also really lovely.

A Perfect Stay at the InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Stay in Amsterdam! We had an amazing stay at the InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and maintained to the highest standards. Our room was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making our stay memorable. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Amstel River. Waking up each morning to such a beautiful riverside view made the experience even more special. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of high-quality options, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was luxurious yet welcoming. This is truly one of the finest hotels in Amsterdam, and we would happily return on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Stunning hotel!
Absolutely fantastic hotel to stay in Amsterdam. Our room overlooked the river which was a real treat. Lovely to wake up and open the window to see the river, boats, and birds. Our room had everything we needed and had a fantastic shower as well as a separate tub. We walked everywhere and nothing was very far. We thoroughly enjoyed drinks on the outside patio overlooking the river. Breakfast was fantastic and you ordered everything off a menu so it was very fresh. Our best surprise was how the concierge recommended and reserved 2 dinner reservations for us. The first was “typical” casual Dutch food. We loved it and would never have found it on our own. The second was a fancier Michelin tasting restaurant in a building from the 1400s (complete with sloping floors). We wore khakis and nice tops and didn’t feel out of place there. The service and food was amazing. Again, nothing we would have found on our own. Glad we followed his recommendations! We will definitely stay here again on return trips to Amsterdam!
