Our cruise line, Amawaterways, booked us at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky for the pre-cruise days. Since I normally book our travel myself, I was a bit apprehensive. The hotel was wonderful and we would absolutely return if we are in Amsterdam again. The hotel itself is lovely inside and our room was lovely and comfortable. The bed and bedding were perfect after a long flight and the bathroom was very well appointed. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous and a perfect way to start a busy day of sightseeing.

The corridor on our floor was literally smelling horrible the entire 3 days we stayed here. The definitely had some plumbing issues but not try to mask that smell in 5 stars hotel was unbelievably. Otherwise, friendly staff, great location and breakfast and modern looking hotel.

I am a Ritz Carlton devotee but Anantara has won me over. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had anywhere in the world. Centrally located to everything in a historic square. Superb service. Immaculately clean. Competent staff eager to assist. This hotel APPRECIATED my business. The complimentary breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever had in a spectacular ball room. I am mourning the loss of their incredible raisin bread and delicious little white doughnuts! It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a flawless experience and the best part was we did so for only $650 a night!

The hotel, staff and the location are all amazing, but mostly the staff. The staff were courteous and attentive to the guests. The level of professionalism was outstanding. I have a very minor issue with the bathroom, but the duty manager saw the matter through and ensured that it was taken care off by following up. They even offered me 100 points to use in the hotel, which was beyond what other hotels would have done! Thank you!
