A beautiful hotel brimming with quality, with a big smile. Not to be missed; breakfast in the garden room 😊 overall a lovely experience

There has to be a better hotel for the price

The front of the house seems exceptional. The staff are well spoken and seemingly very friendly. Don't let that fool you. The room we got was well below standards. Poorly appointed, uncomfortable bed, small inadequate bathroom and a view that was disgusting. Our view was an elevated courtyard with rotting decking to the point that some had falled thru and beautifully decorated with 10 oversized planters that had nothing but dead plants growing in them. This in the height of the flower festival and in the Capital of the Worlds tulips growers.I would go on with particulars but I'm not going to waste my time or yours. Did I mention we lost all power in our room the night before leaving and had to pack up and move rooms at10 PM the night before we left. THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER HOTEL IN AMSTERDAM AT THIS PRICE. If not vacation elsewhere.

Fantastic hotel great especially the staff all round and the white room 9 course tasting menu was outstanding and the upgraded executive suite amazing stay for a 4 day break .Beatrice on the desk was so informative and the concierge totally brilliant knowledge and directed us to a French restaurant nothing was to much trouble

BREAKFAST RIP OFF

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

This is a lovely hotel and we have stayed dozens of times. However, this time having paid a small fortune for breakfast , we were not able to have it once, despite paying. The queues were horrendous! We waited 30 minutes day 1 before giving up as still barely half way and if anything, the queues the following days were even worse!! Extremely frustrating when you consider the cost!! Everyday had to pay to have breakfast outside the hotel which made us feel like we had been ripped off!! The staff clearly know there is an issue as reception did not blink when we shared this and showed no empathy at all!

Excellent location on the Dam. Spacious, comfortable room. Professional staff and a very helpful Concierge. Very good breakfast buffet. Overall, a good value!
