Amazing location! I would like to highlight the assistance of the spanish girl from public relations. Olga was incredibly helpful and professional throughout my visit. Her positive attitude, professionalism and warm smile made the entire amazing experience !!. She went above and beyond to assist me, and her daily support truly made a difference. Kudos to her!! I will for sure return.

Great location, fabulous service

We stayed at the Anantara June 18-22. We had a fabulous experience, from booking our spa appointment a week before we arrived, to our daily interaction with the concierge desk, until checkout - each staff member went above and beyond to meet our needs. My husband and I are usually disappointed with massages we get at hotels, but ours at the Anantara were fabulous. We also enjoyed the saunas and red light therapy. The gym is well equipped. We used the concierge desk daily for meal recommendations, reservations and directions. They even provide WhatsApp so you can get assistance while you’re away from the hotel. The room was very comfortable. We had daily morning and evening room tidying which was a nice added touch. We celebrated our anniversary at the White Room. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are wanted a Michelin Star experience. The food was amazing and the staff was fantastic. The location is perfect for first time visitors because it’s near so much. Highly recommend this hotel.

Gorgeous hotel in an extremely touristy area

We stayed at the Anantara Resort for 2 days on our way back to Amsterdam from Germany at the end of a long Benelux trip. Though we had stayed in Amsterdam, right at the beginning of our holiday, we were located in the Museumkwartier for 5 days, a lovely quiet area filled with beautiful canals and walkways. Anantara , on the other hand , is located directly in the middle of the busiest and most central area of Amsterdam, with luxury designer stores, high street brands, restaurants and bistros all around. The much talked about Red Light area is literally 200 metres away! The entire area is buzzing with energy till the wee hours of morning! Coming back to the resort, the rooms are huge , with gorgeous linens and beautiful toiletry, all in the theme of classy blacks and beiges. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, as befits a luxury establishment. And they have valet parking!! Yayy !! So in case your idea of visiting Amsterdam is partying till dawn, this is probably your go-to place.

Luxury hotel with luxury prices, but the experience as in a mid high category

The hotel location is one of the best, Dam is the hub of Amsterdam, every attraction/restaurant can be reached easily within a few minute walk. The attitude one of the doormen was great, he always said "Welcome back" to me when I arrived and "Have fun" when I left. But other doormen and parking valet just joking with each other and taxi drivers, they completely ignored me. Based on my experience, staff inside the hotel were absolutely lovely, but sometimes really overwhelmed. When this happened, they again, completely ignored me and other guest as well. Best example is the breakfast. The queue was sometimes large at the entrance of the hall and when they found me a table, it took 30 min (yes, thirty minutes) when a waiter asked me what would I like to drink. Then, after another 10 min I gave up waiting for my tee and left the breakfast hall. I also saw when a couple came in for breakfast (they must be in the hotel's "VIP" category) they were greeted by two waiters and a manager-like person. This made the waiting queue more large behind them. Room was really clean, comfy, well equipped and based on my request, it has a Dam view. Decoration was nice as well, but the quality of the bed, pillows could be better. Room cleaning service was ok, but the day I checked out, cleaning lady just came in at 10:40 and asked me when I want to leave, because she would like to prepare the room for the next guest. The original checkout time was 12:00 so I didn't understood the question at all, why do I need to hurry. I must admit, I didn't tried all the hotel facilities, mostly because I simply didn't got right time slot, most of them was booked. Hence I didn't had the chance to try the SPA and the cigar room was also closed when I tried to go in. During the checkout, I tried to explain this all, but they didn't care too much about the details, only asked me that it was good at general or I had specific problems. Summarizing everything, this is a luxury hotel in the best location, charges luxury prices, but the experience is not luxury at all. I got the same services/facilities in Amsterdam for a mid high category hotel as well but for a half price. I'm really not a snob, but if the hotel claims to be luxury, charges you at a luxury price, it has to deliver a luxury experience. And in this case, this is really not true.

A Truly Memorable Afternoon Tea Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We recently enjoyed an afternoon tea at the Krasnapolsky Hotel, and it was an experience we will cherish forever. Our waiter, Yannick, made this occasion truly special. Not only did he share his own experience with allergies, making us feel comfortable and well cared for, but he also took the time to congratulate my grandmother on her birthday. This visit held a special significance for us, as my grandmother used to dance at the Krasnapolsky every week in the past. We chose this venue for our afternoon tea to relive some of those beautiful memories, and Yannick went above and beyond to help make it happen. He gave us a personal tour of the hotel, including the very spot where she used to dance, allowing her to revisit those moments in a deeply touching way. We are incredibly grateful to Yannick for his warm, genuine, and thoughtful service. It came from the heart, and it meant so much to us. Thank you for making this afternoon tea an unforgettable experience!
