We enjoyed our stay at the Anantara Grand Hotel, Amsterdam, The Netherlands! World class service from Marilen, Donna, Edna, Aida & Jocelyn in The Wintergarden for breakfast!

I usually don’t write reviews, even though I travel a lot for work. Yes, the location is perfect — right on Dam Square — and the room was fantastic. But what really makes this hotel special is the service. The first time they cleaned my room, I was amazed. It wasn’t just spotless — it felt like someone truly cared. Victoria didn’t just clean, she arranged everything so thoughtfully, folded things perfectly, and even came back later because she thought I might need an extra bag for laundry. Incredible attention to detail — she genuinely wanted the room to look perfect. At checkout, Natali was simply wonderful — warm, professional, generous, and so kind. She really made me feel taken care of until the very last moment. And my absolute favorite part: The Tailor Bar. What a place! Amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, and the friendliest team. Octavio is the best — funny, fun, and makes world-class drinks. He and the rest of the bar crew made me feel at home and truly turned my business trip into something special. It was a busy week, but these little things matter. What a hotel — just wow.

We are regular guests at Hotel Antara, and every stay solidifies our opinion that this is simply the best. The level of service is unparalleled. Coming from London with a business connected to the five-star hotel industry, we have a broad basis for comparison. The consistent excellence and incredible attention from every single staff member here—from the impeccable front desk and the wonderful breakfast team to housekeeping—is something we have never encountered anywhere else. A special thank you to Inga, Rolf, and Ramiz for making every stay perfect. The only "problem" is that they are so wonderfully attentive that we now refuse to stay anywhere else in Amsterdam. They have, in the best way possible, spoiled us for all other hotels. We cannot recommend Hotel Antara highly enough.

I have stayed at the Antara Grand Hotel Krasnaolsky over many years and the level of service, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms, never fail to impress. Nothing is too much trouble and my room was most comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hotel is on Dam Square in the centre of Amsterdam and within easy walking distance of museums, art galleries and restaurants. I can highly recommend staying at the Krasnapolsky.

I recently stayed at the Anantara Amsterdam and overall, it’s a lovely hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed — very modern, clean, and finished to a high standard. The staff were friendly and the facilities were great. However, the soundproofing was a real letdown. Despite how comfortable the room was, I was woken several times during the night by loud noises outside — including shouting, screaming, and even bottles being smashed. It was disappointing given the otherwise high quality of the hotel. If they improved the sound insulation, it would easily be a five-star experience.
