NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky

Our stay at Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam was overall very pleasant. The hotel was clean, spacious, and felt very fresh throughout. Check-in and check-out processes were flawless and very smooth, which made a great first and last impression. During our stay, we discovered the beautiful open-air courtyard at the center of the hotel only on our last day. It would have been lovely to enjoy a coffee or a light snack there earlier. We wish the hotel had promoted this hidden gem more visibly. We were grateful for the room upgrade, thank you very much for the kind gesture. However, it was disappointing that the windows could not be opened, and the view was directly facing another building, very close by. Because of this, we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time, which slightly diminished the room experience. The breakfast room was bright and very enjoyable, creating a pleasant start to the day. However, the breakfast selection itself could be improved — perhaps with more variety or fresher options. Thank you to the entire team for their hospitality!

We recently spent the weekend at this hotel with some friends and family as a pre-cruise option on our river cruise. We could not have had a better experience there. The hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect. We enjoyed a great breakfast there as well as a dinner. We would definitely stay there again.

Pro's: Breakfast Buffet in the Wintergarden, The Bar Tailor for drinks and snacks, the location, all these are excellent including the customer service. Cons: Beds were too firm for our liking, silverfish in the bathroom, bad customer service experience in hotel restaurant. (they forgot about us and we never got waited on, so we left)

A wonderful hotel, well-trained and very helpful staff. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, with walking distance to all the sights, museums and just the central streets of Amsterdam.

We had a wonderful stay here - the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding. The concierge and the front door attendants were so helpful - one even walked us to the recommended restaurant for dinner!
