4star in a nice part of AMS .Undisclosed construction noise around the hotel.

Pros : located in a nice part of Amsterdam .Hard working staff at restaurant , housekeeping and guest relations.Gym and spa are small but adequate. Cons : construction noise was not disclosed on hotel's website . We were offered a different room but it would not make a difference. Entry door to our studio looked solid but insulation from hallway noise and elevator noise was poor. Reception staff seems rather inexperienced and did not answer pre-arrival e mails. Overall this is a 4 star hotel in a nice part of AMS. Beware of noise issues.

On Sathurday the 4th of April we have visit the Pestana Amsterdam Riverside restaurant on the Amsteldijk together with my wife and mother. De quality of the food was 10 out of 10 and the service of the staff was exellent. They made us feel very special. We were suprised that the restaurant wasn't packed and fully booked. So a free tip for all and espacially to the tourists, if you want to have a great dinner for a reasonable price, then skip all tourist and average restaurants and try this one for a change. You will be impressed for sure. So thanks again and see you soon.

Lovely hotel away from the hustle/ busy side of central Amsterdam but easy to get into Dam central & airport. Tram line 4 & 3 are the nearest stop to hotel to get into the central areas - tram ticket 24hrs is €10 or tap & go. 10mins away via Tram or 20/30mins walking into Dam Central from the hotel. Hotel itself is really nice, has a wellness area includes gym, pool, sauna & steam. Nice & clean hotel. Gorgeous rooms well the one we stayed in which was known as the loft. Customer service was FAB from start to finish - all the staff were lovey, who were very accommodating to your needs & always on hand to help. Breakfast had everything you would need. Loved our stay here & would go again for a city break A 5/10min walk away from the hotel you'll find a road with restaurants, shops & coffee shops.
