Luxury Hotel In Amsterdam
There aren’t many places throughout the world where we’d say that everything was actually perfect throughout our stay, but that certainly was the case with Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived, our room was spectacular, upgraded I’m sure due to our Accor status; but I gained the distinct impression that the objective of everyone at this hotel is to ensure that every one of their guests are made to feel as special as we were. The garden area is very relaxing for a snack and a drink, and the two in-house restaurants are simply superb; again with every staff member ensuring that everything was just perfect. It goes without saying this is the only place we will be staying in Amsterdam.

Lovely hotel with superb staff.
Great hotel with lovely staff - the dinner at the restaurant was lovely - superb food . My only complaint would be the soap/ shampoo dispensers in the room were not working had to open the bottles to get any

We don't normally give reviews but recently stayed at this charming hotel. Good location within walking distance of museums, restaurants, and attractions. Very good service and staff are professional, and make a real effort to please. Our room was spacious and comfortable but a little dated. Breakfast wonderful.

The Sofitel Grand was an ok property. Upon check, I asked about an upgrade, if available, (per your website), they said they gave me an upgrade to a canal view. A very small dark room. Not at all what I expected, a true disappointment!
