We stayed at the hotel on the 25th. It was very crowded, but we tried to make the most of our stay and the spas since we were checking out the next day. On our last day, I got a coffee from the second-floor coffee shop, but they gave me very hot coffee without a lid, so I had to ask for one. As I walked toward the exit, I saw the bar where I had had a drink the night before and realized I had forgotten to grab a coffee stirrer. I saw a couple of employees clearing glasses and cups, noticed a cup full of drink stirrers, and took one. One of the staff members, whose name I think was Escobando (white guy in his 20s with a mustache), told me, "Next time, ask before you take something." At first, I thought he was joking, but he seemed to get more upset. I told him to chill, it's just a coffee stirrer, and explained that I bought the coffee and was a guest at the hotel. That did not help. He became rude and started name-calling. To avoid making things worse, I asked for a manager, but instead of calling for his manager, he kept getting aggressive with me. I was very upset at this point, but I managed to control myself since the last thing I wanted was to get into a fist fight with my family near me. I went to the lobby to explain the situation to another manager. I spoke to a lady named Stephanie (the bar manager), and she referred me to the food and beverage manager, Sonya. I spoke to Sonya, and I am waiting to see what the hotel has done with this individual. And will follow up until this guy is fired. My wife also had a negative experience with another rude staff member. For the price we paid at this expensive 3-star hotel, I did not expect this kind of treatment from the staff. On a positive note, we met some Asian staff with J1A visas at Seven Glacier Resort who were extremely attentive and professional. I do not understand how a hotel hires people who act this way and make guests feel unwelcome. I suggest that every guest who experiences any type of discrimination voice their frustration so that the hotel management will implement new guidelines on who they hire as staff. I will update this review once I hear back from the management team about what steps they have taken with this employee.

Beautiful looking on the outside but dark and dated on the inside. The place is huge and we certainly got our steps in finding our rooms which were clean and comfortable but just ok. I imagine the price is justified by the season, the view and the proximity to the tram but not the rooms or bathrooms. All of the close parking is reserved for valet parkers and at check-in time, 3:00, there was a line of 15 people and two people working; that did not move quickly. Though the space has a late 90's feel, the artwork and the scale of the space remain impressive as does the large, warm, indoor pool which is perfect for families with loud kids but not as great for adults without kids. The tram is almost $50 a person, offers almost no parking, and is not really worth it on a cloudy day unless you plan to hike. The front desk people are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgable and gave us a great suggestion for dinner. It is very convenient to have access to the bars and restaurants without needing to leave the property

We didn't explore the resort but it seemed like it had a lot to offer with several restaurants that looked lively and expansive outdoor areas to wander. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view. Wish we had more time to take everything in.

For over $600 a night, I would expect a much nicer hotel…lots of repairs needed. The hotel was booked to capacity and we showed up late so somehow got a room right by elevator that couldn’t be moved. Despite tables being open, we couldn’t sit by windows at restaurants on property without a reservation. Nice scenery but stay at an Airbnb.

The hotel is beautiful and well situated. Although I tend not to like such large hotels I was more than pleased by the service, room quality, and proximity to hiking. The rooms were clean and attractive. The many dining and drinking places were plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel.
