Good hotel in good location
Nice mid-range hotel in a great location in midtown Anchorage. It's close to a number of restaurants and shops, and only a 10 minute drive from downtown. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and gave us good tips for where to eat and how to get to the fair. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were able to store our luggage when we spent 2 nights in a different town, and they have laundry facilities. The one star off is because the breakfast was so-so, and the first room we stayed in had a somewhat broken bed. But overall it's a great hotel and we would stay there again.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It is a beautiful and friendly place! The entire staff was amazing and made me feel like one of their friends from the moment I checked it! They were helpful to local places I needed to go!

Comfortable quiet airport hotel
After staying in cabins and motels in very beautiful parts of Alaska, it was a treat to stay in this hotel for our last night - spacious, quiet, clean, comfortable room. Friendly reception. Easy no charge parking and 11 minutes to airport. Just right for us!

I left a small bag behind when we left for the airport at 3:30 am. and notified them within 2 hours of leaving. The front desk told me they don’t personally handle looking for it or returning it and I needed to notify a website lostmystuff. I did that the next day and heard nothing. A month later and nobody found it. I have gotten no result and only the run around trying to get some kind of real result. I am 100% sure it was there and feel it was very rude for them not to look for it or leave a note for the cleaning crew. Will never stay at an ihg hotel again.

Very expensive. Room and reception area was nice enough.
Expected more from Crowne Plaza as their UK hotels are much better. The room was nice enough. However the corridors and pool area needs a facelift. The Jacuzzi is useless compared to others I have used and the gym is a joke with barely anything in it. I found the staff ok. However we asked for a blanket as the room was cold and they brought up a mattress topper instead. If money is no object this hotel is ok. However it's worth looking at Air BNB in Anchorage instead as this and the other hotels are so expensive and Crowne Plaza is not worth what they are charging (we were there in September).
