Malliouhana is a boutique luxury resort. The property is beautiful and you can easily walk to the beach, spa, pools and resort restaurants. It’s also an easy walk to local off-resort restaurants. Located on Meads Bay Beach which is long and gorgeous. The water was calm enough for kayaking and snorkeling, we were able to enjoy decent snorkeling right off shore by swimming all around the cliffs near the property where we saw lots of fish. Kayaks, snorkeling equipment, towels, water and beach chairs are all complimentary for guests. There’s also beachfront food and beverage service from Leon’s. The rooms are gorgeous, the amenities are luxurious and the staff is friendly and attentive. Bar Soleil has lovely sunsets, great cocktails and good food. Service is friendly but can be slow, but I think that’s just an American adjusting to island. Every staff member greeted us by name and really paid personal attention to us. I casually mentioned wanting to make Johnny cakes and the recipe appeared in our room that evening. We enjoyed the attentive pool and beach staff. And the spa was so quiet and welcoming. Nothing was ever crowded, it almost felt like a private retreat. The turndown service amenities were perfection. Celeste restaurant is a great place for breakfast which can get a little busy around 9am, but there were always plenty of tables and there’s a continental option in the bar for those that don’t want a full breakfast. For dinner, I suggest Bar Soleil or one of the other local restaurants. We loved the Meads Bay BBQ at Leon’s. The Crayfish was fantastic. Taco Tuesday at bar soleil was a great value and the lobster taco was sublime. Malliouhana is a special place! We hope to return soon!

We loved this resort! The hospitality is A+. Never felt crowded even though they at 97% occupancy. I had so many great interaction me with the team there: Kevan, Bobo, Alex, Dee, Tee and so many others. We’ll be back for sure!

We just checked out of Malliouhana today and I can say that we are actually depressed. Wow. What a beautiful and memorable experience from start to finish. To start, the concierge team was absolutely outstanding even for the months leading up to our stay to help us plan our visit for a group of 10 for my father-in-law’s birthday and for my in-laws milestone anniversary. Then when we arrived, they went above and beyond every step of the way to make our experience truly memorable. We have stayed at so many five star hotels, and I have to say that this property stands out because of the excellent service. The property itself is stunning, the food is wonderful and rooms are specious and well-appointed, but we felt like the whole team knew us and truly cared about us having a memorable experience. There are too many little details to even mention, but if you are looking for a beautiful place to go on vacation weather for a couple or with a family, I am certain you will have just as an amazing of an experience as we did. Some highlights: s’mores outdoors, insanely gorgeous rainbows after the morning rain, everyone knowing my son’s name and helping me carry him up the stairs and giving him juice. We spent most time at the family pool but it wasn’t overrun with kids and it was still relatively quiet and couples were there too (even though there was an adult pool for them). The property is so spread out that we honestly didn’t hear anybody and it was really quiet and relaxing. We loved the live music at Bar Soleil. The property was very clean and the cleaning crew did a great job, if there is one thing that we could change we would recommend adding more trash cans around the property. We really appreciated the golf cart service that helped take us around the property. The location was pretty secluded, but we still were able to walk to a barbecue spot nearby which was really good. Overall, it’s such a wonderful experience that it’s worth every penny and we think it’s an excellent value. We can’t WAIT to come back!!

My wife and I stayed at Malliouhana for 5 days in January 2026 for her birthday. We're mountain and city travelers--we genuinely joked before the trip about why we even booked this because we've never been beach vacation people. I've never been somewhere so beautiful where I was so content to simply be. The resort is stunning. Mornings at Celeste overlooking Meads Bay, catching the ocean breeze over breakfast, were an incredibly easy and energizing way to start the day. We'd amble over to one of the two pools for a few hours, break for lunch, then make our way down to Turtle Cove Beach. We were the only ones at the beach almost every day. I cannot tell you how amazing it is to have that kind of solitude at such a beautiful beach; that's the height of luxury as far as I'm concerned. We had a couple's massage at the spa (hot stones); one of the best we've ever had. The attention to detail at the spa, and really throughout the entire stay, was impressive. Little touches like a cool towel at check-in made a real impression. When one of my bags was lost on the ferry from Sint Maarten, the staff contacted the ferry on my behalf, tracked it down, and had it delivered to me. The service and staff were wonderful throughout. Our garden view villa was spacious with a nice ocean view. Not over the top, just a really comfortable place to come back to. We rented a car one day to explore other beaches but quickly found ourselves longing to be back at the Malli; we'll rely on taxis next time we visit. We walked Meads Bay to have dinner at Salt at the Four Seasons one night (beautiful hotel, though too big for our taste). Sharky's, on reception's recommendation, was great. Celeste for breakfast daily and one dinner was solid. The other onsite bar was fine, convenient but not particularly memorable. 5/5. We will be back. We'll mix in our usual adventurous trips, but when we're longing for total relaxation, we'll have no choice but to return to the Malli.

The music at Malliouhana at their Leon's Beach bar is way too loud. You cannot sleep. All you hear is pounding drums. It's incredibly disruptive to a peaceful vacation. The general manager of Malliouhana does nothing.
