Reviews for Royal Antibes

Wonderful place. Perfect location for a vacation in Antibes and the beach.

Great location! Right in the boardwalk, next to the ocean, a couple of minutes walk to beautiful old Antibes. Many restaurants and breakfast places around, very beautiful privat beach with restaurant and sun beds, lounge area. Also a great place to stay with a dog, since there’s some grassy areas around the hotel and many dogs of leash in the morning. Even in the beach. Room was nice and big, with a kitchen and big fridge. Also very clean. Elevated and hallway was a little bit dark and could be freshened up. I would love to stay there for a month vacation. Breakfast was very good and plenty too.

Our 2nd stay - love the location looking over the sea. Standard room with small balcony was comfortable. Staff ate quick helpful and efficient. Spa and private beach facilities are excellent. We will be back. Thank you.

Massage experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Today we had the wonderful experience of enjoying a mother-and-daughter massage by Aphèlie and Sarah, and it was truly exceptional. We enjoyed a moment of complete relaxation and well-being. Without a doubt, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to treat themselves to a unique experience of rest and disconnection.

A gem of a hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We had a great trip to Antibes. This hotel was superbly located close to the beach and the old town. The staff were very pleasant and helpful at all times. We had a wonderful spacious room with a balcony which was spotless. Plenty of toiletries and fresh towels. Would highly recommend.

Hidden extras and poor location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Stayed for one night after our flight home got cancelled. Had initially stayed the previous 3 nights in an apartment in the old town (15 min walk from The Royal) Was disappointed to see that the loungers on the private beach are 35 euro pp per day and 45 euro pp per day on the pier. We had chosen this hotel for the private beach area but no way was i going to pay that type of money for 2 days on the beach! Also, I found the location in the old town far better for walking the cobbled streets and finding lovely little squares with restaurants. The Royal is on the sea front but lacks in the dining options in the vicinity. Room was small with pretty much no lighting in or around the wardrobe area and so felt very dark. Bed was comfy and shower good.
