The hotel has every amenity it needs to be 4-star, but the overall quality is 3-star. The rooftop terrace we were excited about from the photos - closed (due to renovations, I believe), which was not discloded anywhere before our trip. The infrastructure seemed very... neglected. Like there wa sno budget to maintain it. The sink and shower kept clogging, the tap handles were loose and fell off, the grout yellowed and dirty. The towels and bathrobes felt well-used, like they've been washed too many times, had strings coming off them and rough edges. The silicone used to seal the jacuzzi in the SPA was coming apart so much you could look beyond it, inside the tub walls. The breakfast hall is very small and the food selection is limited. In general, the price is rather high for what you get, probably entirely motivated by the excellent location right at the beachfront and very close to the old town. A big plus is the great staff, though - they're very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and know English very well. They anticipated the needs of travellers, too, and offer you luggage storage and a place to change from travel clothes if you arrive early or have time to spare before travel after checking out, as well as call you as soon as the room is ready. There's also free cold water and coffee in the lobby, which is very useful, especially since the cafe and bar have very narrow opening times. To not end on a bad note, other things that also were great: the air conditioning (not connected to the room electricity controlled by card insertion - meaning you could leave it running and not return to a hell-hot room in the evening), the bed (many hotel beds are too soft for me and my bad back, this one wasn't hard but supported my spine very well!), the smart TV (it's usually hard to connect to your Netflix/Youtube in a hotel, here it was set-up with a Chromecast code so it was very easy!)

Our stay at Royal Antibes was unfortunately disappointing, and overall we left with rather negative impressions. The hotel's biggest advantage is its location, but beyond that, it fell short of our expectations in several areas. The hotel does not have a swimming pool, which is something many guests may expect from a property in this category. The room furnishings were quite basic, and the beds were not very comfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The interiors also felt dated and lacked the style and atmosphere we were hoping for. Breakfast was one of the weakest aspects of our stay. The selection was very limited, and the overall quality did not match the standard we expected. In addition, we found the hotel restaurant to be closed on several occasions, which significantly reduced the convenience of staying at the hotel. The private beach was another disappointment. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, which made the experience far less enjoyable. During our stay, we visited several other beach clubs in Antibes and found them to offer much better service, a nicer atmosphere, and a far more enjoyable experience. Overall, Royal Antibes did not meet our expectations. While the location is convenient, the lack of facilities, underwhelming breakfast, basic rooms, and disappointing beach service mean we would choose a different hotel if we returned to Antibes.

Clean and spacious rooms, relatively well maintained . We had a king size bed and enough extra room for a sitting area ( but curiously, no chairs , so nowhere to sit comfortably ) . Well located property and the beach facility was great. i read the negative reviews and had just the opposite experience, the beach facility is well run, efficient and all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful . Very good hotel, I would go again. And they have a real parkade that was easy to use, important if you are travelling by car.

I stayed at this hotel for one night in July 2026. I had a deluxe room and it was huge with a balcony with two sun beds, large bathroom with a full size bathtub and shower also. After 5 visits at the french riviera, mostly been in Nice and Cannes, this was the most soundproof room i have had since i started to travel to the french riviera back in 2023, thats also a large plus since i wake up easy. The staff was super helpful and even after i checked out, they let me use a shower to clean myself up after my last day at the beach before catching my flight. The location is perfect, one beach are to your right stepping out of the hotel entrance and to your left is a 7 minute walk to the old town where you find another beach and also a lot of restaurants etc. The breakfast was OK, i give it a 3/5, the staff there i give 5/5, they were super welcoming.
