Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp

We stayed here for a night. It is beautiful hotel, tucked into historic grounds right in the middle of the city. The rooms are lovely, spacious and really well done, with gorgeous colours that give them a lot of warmth and character. The decoration throughout is very elegant, we liked it a lot. The wellness area is a standout, especially for a city hotel. The pool is huge and the sauna is great. Though the lift up to the wellness floor is a bit small, and the steam bath wasn’t quite working during our visit, we enjoyed the spa a lot. Breakfast deserves a special mention, because it’s close to perfect. It’s beautifully organised, with loads of variety, and the included à la carte menu of little plates lifts it well above the usual hotel spread. Easily a highlight of the day. Service is very good in general, with just a bit of room to improve, mainly around the check-in and check-out. The one question mark is the price. At over 700 euros a night it’s a serious rate, and it might be a touch too much. But all in all, it is a wonderful place to stay at. Bravo to the whole hotel team!

What a fantastic property! Impeccable service, beautiful interiors, some of the best gastronomy in this region and such a perfect position. Central yet quiet and private. Amazing spa. Little corner of paradise. Will absolutely recommend this place.

Botanic Sanctuary is a great place to stay with an excellent and friendly top service, right in the center of Antwerp, near the shops, museums and historic center. Laura and here colleagues made us feel welcome and gave us all the imformation we needed. We had a very delicious dinner at the Hidden Garden restaurant.

It was amazing! Location is very good, service is amazing!! Breakfast is also very nice, the spa is relaxing, clean and nice to chill.

OMG, I have stayed in some amazing hotels around the world and I am very rarely impressed. This hotel covers all the basis's. Outstanding location in the Botanical Gardens a beautifully and carefully restored Monastery with added new buildings housing new rooms, luxury spa and restaurants. Indulge yourself in the unparalleled luxury. From the Champagne reception and check-in, your personal escort to your room, the warm soft furnishings and very modern artwork in the public areas. Our room was very large with super high ceilings that went into the beamed rafters and ceiling windows, I could have moved in. Great free standing bath, walk-in shower, everything in or room was perfect. You have choice of great restaurants from Michelin Star to casual dining, inside and terrace dining, fabulous bars and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding the choice was incredible. The service throughout our stay was super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is also within walking distance of everything in Antwerp, WOW.
