Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp

This oasis in the center of Antwerp is your place away from home. From the moment you set foot on the expansive property, you feel welcome and pampered. Everyone greets you with a smile and is ready to offer assistance. First a shoutout to the concierge team headed up by Antoine and Billy. No task is too small or too big for them to tackle. You need a train ticket, mail a box, need specific electronic equipment, or a last-minute restaurant reservation, they will make it happen. Hotel rooms are spread out in various buildings and all rooms are beautifully outfitted with large, bathrooms with separate walk-in shower and deep soaking bathtub. Most rooms have King beds, a work desk, sitting area and large closets. Some rooms/suites have terraces and/or balconies as well, just check when you book. All restaurants on the property are beautifully designed and serve delicious, fresh food. Exclusive gastronomy. I have eaten at Henry's Bistro, Bar Bulot, and Fine Fleur (1 Michelin star), and all these experiences were wonderful - don't forget your cocktail at Henry's Bar. When talking about food, one has to mention the breakfast buffet, with an option to order a la carte hot dishes. This breakfast is on par with any 5-star Parisian hotel, and is served in a gorgeous ambiance. I have not had the pleasure to use the spa but will try on my next visit. Each time I stay here, it becomes harder to leave.

Wonderfull hotel dream came true. Top service. Nice decoration. The only point of criticism are the sofas in the bar. They have to be maintained.

Botanic sanctuary is a gem. Perfect location, wonderful staff, great atmosphere and attention to detail in everything.

We stayed at Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp for a birthday trip and I can honestly say the website photos and descriptions do not do this place justice. First, the breakfast deserves its own paragraph because it is absolutely insane (in the best way). It’s included with the stay and is easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever experienced. The buffet has everything: multiple types of smoked fish, beautiful pastries, hot dishes, fresh breads, healthy options, fruits, cheeses, and more. On top of that, you can order two entrées per person from the menu, which are also included. And yes- champagne, mimosas, bloody marys, or basically whatever drink you’d like with breakfast are included as well. It feels less like a hotel breakfast and more like a full luxury brunch. The spa treatments are next level. I get spa treatments regularly and this was truly exceptional-- both the facilities and the quality of the treatments are top tier. A small logistical note for future guests: if you want to eat dinner at one of the hotel’s restaurants, book well in advance. They fill up quickly. That said, if you forget or decide last minute, the bar food is genuinely excellent, and the concierge is extremely helpful about finding great reservations nearby. Which brings me to the service- it’s outstanding. The concierge team found us a last-minute dinner reservation in the city when we couldn’t get into one of the hotel restaurants. Without us even asking, they mentioned to the restaurant that it was my wife’s birthday, which made the evening feel even more special. Throughout the stay, everyone went out of their way to be thoughtful and helpful. Between the stunning property, incredible breakfast, exceptional spa, and genuinely warm service, this was one of the most memorable hotel stays we’ve had. We will absolutely return.
