Villa Fontelunga

Outstanding hosts and staff! Very romantic, charming, peaceful and quiet. The villa is perfectly decorated with beautiful art and subtle touches. I felt at home.

We had a family reunion at Borgo69 for six days recently, taking three villas. The property is a fantastic base in Tuscany, with great villa units, very good staff, and the restaurant on site. It was the best possible location and property for what we wanted, a really special complex to enjoy a family reunion in Tuscany. This is a gem of a place, perfectly situated in the heart of Tuscany for day trips to all the highlights. Start with a fabulous breakfast and great coffee while looking over the valley to Cortona then come back to the villa at the end of each day for a swim and a glass of wine while looking out over the olive groves - heaven!

Paolo and Philip, the delightful owners of this very comfortable relaxed hotel, are exceptionally helpful and fun. It’s rather like staying in someone’s house but you get a bill when you leave which one doesn’t begrudge one iota. You definitely need a car as there’s no dining room but there is a good choice of restaurants nearby. Tasty breakfast with limitless coffee, fruit left out all day and an honesty bar. We had a really happy spoiling 5 nights. Thank you both and all your charming smiley staff.

We were a group of 4 couples looking to stay in Tuscany. Forever grateful someone recommended Villa Fontelunga. Our stay was exceptional. The delicious breakfast each day, the pool, the rooms, the service, the view …every single moment was memorable. We were able to visit some amazing towns nearby as the villa is in a great location.
