Went for our honeymoon, absolutely beautiful property, great food and fabulous staff! Particular shout out to John our safari guide, so friendly and knowledgable! Lucian our butler who was exceptional and so lovely and Esther in reservations who was an absolute dream to coordinate the trip with! We had a magical trip!

This was truly a 10/10 experience from beginning to end. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and, without a doubt, the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and the architecture of the hotel is stunning. The views are simply breathtaking. Waking up to the Serengeti right outside our room was unforgettable—we even had an elephant walk right in front of us! It felt like being completely immersed in nature while enjoying every comfort. The food was exceptional. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, with a great variety and excellent quality every day. The amenities are outstanding as well. The hotel has a beautiful pool, a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, comfortable lounge areas, and a lovely boutique. There is always something to enjoy. What made the experience even more special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and their hospitality was truly unforgettable. The safari experience was also perfectly organized. The vehicles were equipped with everything you could need, including binoculars, bug spray, and blankets for the cooler evening game drives. Every detail was taken care of. I traveled all the way from Guatemala, and this experience exceeded every expectation. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari and luxury stay. I can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Serengeti Explorer by Elewana . The location is breathtaking, the facilities are amazing and the views seem to go on forever. The food was superb too, and every meal was something to look forward to. Families with young children are very well catered for, both with food and activities. One thing we would really recommend is waking up early for sunrise, going up to the deck and simply taking in the view. Watching the sky fill with so many beautiful colours over the Serengeti was magical and is a memory we will always treasure. All the staff were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. John, our game drive guide, was very knowledgeable and made our drives interesting and enjoyable. A very special thank you to Stella, who looked after our three year old while we went hot air ballooning, as he was too young to come with us. Our children, aged three and five, absolutely adored her. She runs the children’s activity room, where they had a wonderful time painting, watching movies and enjoying the different activities. She also organised a movie night in the theatre with popcorn, which the children loved. Michelle and Emile are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome and at home throughout our stay. The entire team made our time incredibly special. We left with such happy memories and would wholeheartedly recommend it, especially to families travelling with young children.

We had an incredible stay at Serengeti Explorer during our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better safari experience. The highlight of our trip was our guide, Protas. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and the Serengeti, and his passion for what he does really showed. More importantly, he went out of his way to make our safari an amazing and memorable experience. He took the time to understand what we wanted to see and made every effort to tailor each game drive to make it everything we had hoped for. Seeing so many incredible animals in their natural habitat was unforgettable, and returning each day to the beautiful resort made the experience even more special. One morning we were even woken up by the noise of some elephants walking through the brush right outside our balcony! The staff were all warm and welcoming, and one of our favorite surprises was when the kitchen kindly prepared some traditional Tanzanian dishes for us on request, including delicious ugali. It was a fantastic way to experience the local cuisine and something we'll always remember. From the exceptional guiding to the wonderful hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Serengeti Explorer to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari in Tanzania!

This is an amazing resort with views for miles. The property is beautiful and only second to its' amazing staff. We had the pleasure of Awak being our housekeeper and Isreal as our server during our stay. They both made the trip memorable and were so attentive and a genuine joy. The location is beautiful and we saw zebras and buffalos from our balcony. The rooms are spacious, modern and well appointed. We are looking forward to going back there one day!
