Coworth Park Hotel, Ascot

We had a fabulous birthday celebration this weekend! We received a warm welcome from Rowan & front of house team. Our room was beautiful decorated, oozing luxury, topped with lovely amenities and the turn down service made our stay exceptional! Thanks to Monika & housekeeping team , we appreciate going the extra mile . The dinner @ Barn restaurant was top notch from service to delicious food . Not to forget the yummy breakfast @ the Woven . Thank you for all the little surprises, your hospitality service was to perfection , nothing was too much trouble and this will certainly be our memorable stay !

Last night I squeezed in a quick celebration with my girlies enroute to Greece! Conveniently located, it only took 25 mins from LHR and following a warm welcome from the team we had a delightful meal at The Barn. Autum has arrived and the outdoor patio was cosy with heaters and blankets. I enjoyed the burrata and a hearty butternut squash risotto, the girls shared a Venison Wellington! Our suite was made up perfectly and the extra bed was plush and comfortable. I slept like a baby. This morning the departure was seamless, coffee in hand, smooth transferand holding back the FOMO as my friends plan a morning of walking the stunning grounds, horseback riding and SPA day!

I treated my friend to afternoon tea at Coworth Park to celebrate a big birthday. The service was very attentive, and the setting was beautiful (in the orangery), but the actual tea was slightly disappointing. The scones were a little hard, as I think they had been kept warm too long, and we weren't offered a fresh pot of tea so the tea towards the end of our meal was luke warm. Finally, when presented with the bill, it didn't reflect the fact I had already paid a deposit (this was corrected when I pointed it out). It was, nevertheless, still a lovely afternoon - my friend appreciated her little birthday cake, and we both appreciated the little extras.

My main area of concern was the noise in the Stables which they dont mention when you book. The front door of each four rooms banged every time someone entered. There was also clear footsteps from the people upstairs. You dont expect that in a 5 star hotel. The meal at Woven was best ever. The meals at the Barn were nothing special.
