Reviews for Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville

Outstanding!

Pure luxury. From the bell stand to the housekeepers to the bar to the restaurant. Only complaint: no outdoor seating (aka a bench) and the room windows are screwed shut! Feels claustrophobic after a day.

A fabulous stay in every way!

We loved our stay at the Grand Bohemian! Everything about this stay was off the charts from the room, to the restaurant, to the outstanding, attentive staff. The Valet’s were fantastic, polite, and welcoming, including Anthony and Joe! We would be very happy to stay here again! Thank you!

Exceptional service

From the moment we pulled up, the service at this hotel was exceptional! The valet car service and front desk with Jaylin and his partner I think was Al and all the staff member made us feel very welcome at the hotel. Although we did not have housekeeping, we saw various workers in the hallways and they were all very friendly. Hotel was recently renovated and it showed. Very clean and comfortable! The breakfast with our status included a continental breakfast. It was Greek yogurt with fresh fruit, and a muffin which was fine. Our only complaint was with hostess attending to us and finally getting us seated. Should be a very quick process and it wasn’t at all. Staffing at the restaurant was very friendly/ Efficient and very good. Glad to see the hotel is reopened and hopefully more business will come back into the area too! Would highly recommend this hotel! Very close yo Biltmore house.

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Bohemian Asheville! The staff was warm and welcoming, the rooms beautifully designed, and the art throughout the hotel made our visit truly special. The food was amazing, and its location near Biltmore Village made exploring so easy. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Excellent stay!

It is so nice to see this hotel open once again after Hurricane Helene. A big renovation was done, primarily to the first floor (lobby, restaurant, art gallery), but the rooms were definitely renovated as well. Some of the changes we noticed were the headboards, improved technology for charging devices and large, Samsung flatscreen TVs. Josue was our valet and he did an excellent job. Al checked us in and did a great job as well, always saying hi to us and engaging us when we saw him in the lobby throughout our stay. Love that they still offer a glass of champagne at check-in, which was such a nice way to start our stay. My husband requested an extra blanket, but all they had available was a large, King size duvet. That seemed strange, but not a big deal. We had an Executive Junior Corner King Suite, which was so roomy. The AC worked very well. Upon entering the room, there was a cabinet with a mini fridge (with 2 complimentary waters and some complimentary sodas in it), a large countertop with an extra assortment of wines available for purchase, a small sink and a coffee maker with Starbucks coffee. The bed slept comfortably, but it was a little on the softer side. There were plenty of drawers for storage and 2 very plush robes, with slippers, in the closet. There were a variety of lighting options, several of which have dimming capability. My only suggestion would be to have a mirror, or maybe even a full length mirror, in the room somewhere, especially since the corner executive suite is so large. Since our room was a handicap accessible room (not our request, but what we were given), if one of us was occupying the bathroom, the other person had no mirror to get ready. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job…and I mean better than average and better than expected. We ate at Red Stag grill several times, for both dinner and breakfast and it was always excellent. At breakfast, the eggs benedict and the French toast were both exceptional and highly recommended. Both Ethan and Mario were attentive servers. Ethan was extra special. At dinner, the filet was very good and cooked perfectly to the requested temperature and with a Pittsburgh char, as requested. The Caesar salad was tasty, but a bit of work to eat. Bread is available at an extra fee and the initial bread that was brought to our table was so hard I thought I would break my teeth on it. Our server, Ryan, felt terrible and brought out a different type of bread, which was much softer. We also ate in the bar area, where seating is first come, first serve. The food was as delicious as the main restaurant, but less expensive and with a more casual atmosphere. You can order off the main dining room menu in the bar area if you like. The wine and cocktail menu is very good and has something for everyone, even mocktails (nonalcoholic). Highly recommend this beautiful hotel, not only for the hotel room, but also for the Red Stag Grill, which was absolutely wonderful every single time.

The Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville is a beautiful boutique hotel, decorated in the style of a Vanderbilt hunting lodge, located across from the entrance gate to Bilmore Estate and inside the Biltmore Village... many shops within easy walking distance. A wonderful holiday!
