No room at the Spa, and if you want dinner, we have a 9:30 pm time available!
Terrible experience, they were overbooked so you couldn't get a timely reservation for dinner. They had no reservations available at the Spa. No one mentioned this unavailability when we made our reservations. Nor did they mention that we needed reservations for the various restaurants on the property, and the few available times left were inconvenient. I expected better.

Great experience
Stayed here for the second time. This time was for a wedding. I felt like the customer service was amazing. Everyone so helpful.. and the accommodations including the wedding venue was amazing!

Deceiving guest room
Overall my experience was really impacted by the shower pressure in my room as well as the quality of the mattress in my room. I stayed in a premium room thus expecting much better quality. The shower pressure was so poor. I was having a difficult time for a shampoo out of my hair and staying warm during the shower. The bed was so firm that I wasn’t able to sleep on my side. The lobby was beautiful. The terrace was beautiful. The drinks served on the terrace or nice. The fitness center was also a great experience. But given thepoor guest room experience, I would likely not stay here again.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
Have stayed the Grove Park Inn numerous times. Can't wait for our next visit. The staff is terrific. The Inn has such history, such great views and wonderful amenities. World Class! Buffets in the Blue Ridge Room along with their Sunday Brunch are a must!

If I hadn't been here for a conference, I wouldn't be here.
Back in the late 80s, I thought this place was cool. But the beds are not worthy of the price. The food and drink are not worthy of the price. If you are looking for the view or wanting to sit in front of the fireplace, come and buy an overpriced beverage, pay too much for the parking, and then head back into town.
