Stayed here post cruise , very nice hotel about 10 minutes in taxi up to acropolis. Annoyed with check in as our room wasn’t ready until 3:20pm . Room was very spacious and clean and breakfast was worth the money. Price of a pint though is €11 and restaurant is very expensive. There are some good restaurants 10-15 minutes walk or 5 mins in taxi. We walked to Tandori bites (13minutes) , food is excellent and total bill for 2 including drinks was €38. Be careful to get a price from taxi driver before accepting ride , we paid €8 to acropolis but didn’t ask on return and he charged €30. When flying from home from Athens airport allow time as you will be queuing 2 hours to get through security

Rooms are comfortable and recently upgraded. Breakfast is average. The main issue we had was the concierge’s recommendation to use the taxi service outside the hotel to visit a local museum. We stepped outside, the hotel staff used a whistle to call the taxi over. Upon arriving at the museum, the driver demanded an extra 5 euros because it was required by the company. This turned out to be a scam. We informed the concierge, George about the incident. It’s disappointing a 5 star hotel would recommend a taxi service that rips their guests off.

Hotel was very clean, room service was excellent!! But my wife got stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes and we were told this has been happening!! Also went to the rooftop bar to have a cocktail and look at the amazing view, however this was spoiled as we were acknowledged but were never served, no one ever came to take a drink order.

From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby until the final checkout, my entire stay was a flawless, five-star experience. A huge special thanks to Vassilis at the front desk, he was super kind, extremely thorough in explaining all the hotel amenities, and made check-in feel completely seamless and welcoming. The facilities are exceptional, clean, and luxurious; I can genuinely say this is one of the absolute best hotels I have ever stayed in. The location is ideal as well, making city travel effort-free with quick access to the nearby tram, subway, and bus stops. The outdoor pool area is a total oasis, and every single staff member went above and beyond to provide warm, attentive service. The gentleman working at the pool even surprised me with a cold bottle of water right as I sat down, it was such a thoughtful, attentive touch that truly made my day, thank you, man! The breakfast spread is outstanding for €36, featuring an incredible array of fresh local delicacies, pastries, and hot dishes with so many choices you could never try them all. Overall, the genuine warmth, professionalism, and bright smiles from the whole team made me feel genuinely valued. Thank you everyone for doing such fantastic work!

We had read so many bad reviews for this hotel before our trip that we almost cancelled our reservation . I am however glad we did not and went ahead. Rooms are recently refurbished , staff at the front desk, room dining , Premiere and the breakfast restaurant are all lovely and courteous. Location is not perfect , but not more than 7-8 mins from the centre by UBER + Tram station is just next door . I would only ask that the hotel probably trains the bell boy team a little better who act like a group of random old men standing outside the hotel and chilling on their own rather than acting as part of hotel staff and interacting / taking care of guests . That said - Positives at this property outweigh the few negatives and we would not mind staying at the same property , if we are back at Athens anytime soon.
