5* International boutique hotel with glorious views over the Acropolis. An oasis of calm and luxury, with staff that all go the extra mile to achieve best in class customer service. We stayed in an Athenian Room and enjoyed all the home comforts and a very good breakfast. This hotel must be amongst the best in Greece.

Our stay at The Dolli in Athens was nothing short of extraordinary. In every respect, it was one of the most polished, thoughtful, and memorable hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were struck not only by the beauty of the property, but by the extraordinary level of care behind every interaction. The hospitality was impeccable, the service deeply professional, and the overall experience so carefully orchestrated that it felt almost effortless. From the very beginning, The Dolli set the tone beautifully. The welcome drinks and sweets upon arrival were a gracious and elegant touch—an immediate indication that this was a property where every detail mattered. It was not simply a check-in; it was an introduction to an experience defined by refinement, warmth, and intention. The hotel itself is breathtaking. Every space feels curated rather than decorated, with an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and inviting. There is an ease to the luxury here—nothing feels forced or overstated. Instead, every detail, texture, and design element works together to create an environment of understated perfection. The property manages to feel intimate and grand at the same time, which is no small achievement. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and beautifully composed, offering a sense of warmth and calm that made it feel like a true retreat. It was cozy in the most luxurious sense of the word. One of the most memorable details was the shower, whose massaging waterfall effect transformed an ordinary routine into something deeply relaxing and restorative. Even the smallest in-room touches felt deliberate and elevated. The rooftop experience alone would be reason enough to stay at The Dolli. The view of the Acropolis is simply astonishing—one of those rare vistas that never loses its impact, no matter how many times you look at it. We dined at the rooftop restaurant both nights of our stay, and it was exceptional on each occasion. The lamb chops were superb, the filet was beautifully prepared, the salads were fresh and vibrant, and the sweets were as elegant as they were delicious. The celeriac soup, in particular, was divine—one of those dishes that lingers in your memory long after the meal is over. Dining there, with that view and that level of culinary execution, felt truly special. The rooftop pool was equally unforgettable. Despite the 15-degree weather, we decided to take a dip, and it became one of the most memorable moments of our time in Athens. To be in that pool, surrounded by such beauty, with the Acropolis before you, was an experience that felt both surreal and exhilarating. It is difficult to imagine a more spectacular setting. Another highlight was the Secret Bar, which felt like a destination within a destination. The decor was stunning, the atmosphere intimate and distinctive, and the cocktails were absolutely outstanding. It was one of those spaces that immediately feels transporting. Our experience there was made even more memorable by Nicolai, who took extraordinary care of us. His warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism were truly exceptional and embodied the level of hospitality that defines this hotel. Breakfast on the rooftop each morning was another remarkable part of the stay. The setting is, of course, breathtaking, but what impressed us most was that the quality and attention to detail matched the view. Everything felt beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and seamlessly delivered. It was the perfect way to begin each day. What Grecotel has accomplished with The Dolli is truly exceptional. This is far more than a beautiful hotel in an iconic location. It is a masterclass in hospitality—where service, cuisine, design, comfort, and atmosphere come together in complete harmony. Every touchpoint felt intentional. Every detail felt elevated. Every moment reflected a level of excellence that is increasingly rare to find. Our two days there were unforgettable, and we left feeling that we had experienced something genuinely special. The Dolli is not merely a hotel stay; it is a fully realized expression of luxury, elegance, and care. We would return without hesitation, and with great enthusiasm. For anyone considering it: go. It is a rare place that not only meets expectations, but transcends them completely.

I visited this boutique and luxury hotel at 1 Jan during the Christmas. This hotel is filled with authentic boutique Greek style, with the spectacular Acropolis view and infinity pool.

We visited le secret bar at the dolli at acropolis and had a lovely experience. The venue is beautiful with a warm atmosphere and the food was delicious. The staff were very polite and a special mention goes to christina who was incredibly sweet and attentive. Her smile made our lunch even more enjoyable. it is always so refreshing to come across such kindness in a restaurant as beyond the nice setting it is the people who truly make the experience.

Our five-night stay at The Dolli in March 2026 was, in short, a delight. We experienced a wonderful stay in a phenomenal city, complemented by a wonderfully run hotel. **Location and Property** The Dolli boasts a superb central location in Athens. It is perfectly positioned for exploring, just a pleasant 15-minute walk from the Acropolis. We found the immediate area to be conveniently situated without feeling overly crowded, though we acknowledge this might be attributed to visiting in March rather than during peak summer season. The property appears to be relatively new and is impeccably maintained. It exudes a dignified and calming atmosphere. With an estimated 40–50 rooms, The Dolli maintains an intimate scale, providing a welcome contrast to the anonymity of larger establishments. **Room and Housekeeping** Our third-floor room was beautiful, featuring high ceilings and the requested twin beds. It was evident that the design, like the rest of the hotel, was exceptionally well thought out. A particularly exceptional detail was the wonderful shower cubicle. The door opens inwards and has an external handle; this design allows you to hang your towel on the handle and pull it toward you upon exiting, eliminating wet bathroom floors. This attention to practical, small details makes the property stand out. The only minor drawback was the comparatively limited storage space. Although the room provided more than enough hangers, there was essentially only a single drawer for storing personal items. Housekeeping services were exceptional. Beyond maintaining a spotless room, the staff demonstrated a remarkable level of personalized attentiveness. Being left-handed, I had moved the shaving mirror at the sink. On the first day, it was returned to its original position. However, on the second day, the staff noticed and not only left the mirror where I had placed it but also subtly re-arranged nearby amenities to ensure the new setup was optimal. Furthermore, our personal belongings were often non-intrusively re-arranged to better utilize the room's space, creating a perfect sense of order. **Restaurants** We did not utilize the hotel's main dining options, with the exception of breakfast served on the magnificent rooftop terrace. Available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., breakfast is a high-quality combination of a buffet and an à la carte menu. The food—including the fresh fruit and eggs—was excellently prepared. The staff was extremely friendly and highly attentive. All of this is enjoyed while taking in the view over the Acropolis, which is truly hard to beat. ** Gym ** The gym is small, but very well equipped. I used it once for an hour between 8am and 9am. Since I was alone, it was a perfect experience for me. **Overall Impression** All in all, The Dolli delivered an outstanding experience, successfully blending intimate charm, thoughtful design, and impeccable service in the heart of Athens.
