The Dolli at Acropolis

This hotel is awesome. And it doesn’t feel at all like a hotel. It’s like staying at your beautiful apartment in the heart of the city. The rooftop pool and view is one of a kind. The rooftop restaurant food and service are outstanding. The service is perfect and understated. There are a lot of people who work there who are ready to help with anything you need and it’s just very relaxed. Not stuffy like I would have thought a small fabulous hotel like this would be. The room, air conditioner, housekeeping, concierge, front desk is 6 stars. The windows are double paned and the room is very quiet. We loved our stay

Athens is a crowded city so there are almost no public spaces outside, but that is made for by the beauty of the hotel inside. There are no words to describe how incredibly beauifully decorated the hotel is. I am sure it's been renovated recently but if I was invited to move in their permanently I would say yes for sure! The hotel has several categories of rooms.

Really lovely well located hotel with excellent staff and exceptional service. The food is very good and the view from the rooftop restaurant and pool of the Acropolis is memorable .The room is very comfortable, but lacks storage. Overall a lovely stay and an excellent hotel.

Our stay at The Dolli was exquisite from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the front door of this intimate hotel we experienced the warmth of the gracious service from an energetic, well-trained and friendly staff seeking to assist in any way they can. We so appreciated them all. The decor is both elegant and whimsical: the lobby is filled with flowers, art and delectable sweets throughout the day. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with lofty ceilings reflecting the building’s former life as a factory. Most extraordinary of all, however, is the rooftop restaurant, bar and pool where we had breakfast each morning looking up at the nearby Acropolis, as well as drinks each afternoon beside the infinity pool. One evening we had a lovely dinner with the lit Acropolis looking down on us. We feel very lucky to have found our way to The Dolli.

Come for the view, it’s worth every euro. We had dinner on the rooftop restaurant. My hotel had somewhat miscommunicated the reservation but they sorted everything out and we had pre dinner drinks at the bar and a very nice table with a glorious view of the Acropolis. The welcome is pleasant. Nice drinks, a good menu and an interesting wine list. I absolutely hated the tableware but that me - you may like it ! We kept it simple. Gazpacho to start which was delicious but should have been properly chilled followed by the rib eye steak for two which should have been hot but arrived at the table with its french fries and grilled vegetables all of which were stone cold ! They did correct this but at this price level it isn’t too much to get it right first time around. We didn’t have any dessert but the delightful sommelier insisted that we had something with his compliments. It is a beautiful place, nice service, the food is ok but the view is spectacular and the Dolli is beautiful- that’s what you’re paying for.
