Grand Resort Lagonisi is local luxury at its finest. The waterfront bungalows offer stunning direct views of the Aegean Sea—the sunsets from the west-facing side are absolutely breathtaking. The property is private, pristine, and incredibly beautiful. Top-notch service, excellent dining, and crystal-clear private beaches. An exceptional experience from start to finish. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

I am extremely disappointed by the experience I had in this hotel, which deviates from the criteria that characterize a leading hotel. I was offered and promised an upgrade upon booking, which turned out to be bad publicity because the room was on a beach full of stones and out of place. I therefore protested, but rather than give me the room on the central sandy beach, they relocated me to another wing where I was practically alone, except for one or two other guests. The Italian restaurant charges 24 euros for a plate of cherry tomatoes and 28 euros for a pasta dish... the kindness of the staff is not good enough, a mass... regulate yourselves!!

My friend and I stayed at this lovely resort for three nights on an b&b basis in the beautiful sunset suite with private pool. The resort is quite spread out on a beautiful peninsula and set on beautiful grounds with well kept gardens and surroundings. The beach is small but very pretty, the sea water very clear. There is a sport centre there and a lovely restaurant which serves very nice local dishes and drinks. Plenty of sun-beds either side of the restaurant. In May not all restaurants are open and we only tried the Italian one ( Il Capitano) which is set on a beautiful spot and has a great terrace. The restaurants are quite pricey ( a glass of wine €15) and this one was in the same league but the food was very tasty and the service very attentive. The breakfast was very good with fresh pastries, Greek yogurts, ham and cheeses and hot food station. You were able to order also hot dishes. I would have liked to see granola amongst the choices and fresh Greek yogurts served in china dishes. The room was very beautiful with a great pool overlooking the sunset ( wanderful views) but was missing a full mirror and a kettle with selection of teas. Every 5 star hotel I have been to or even a 4 star offers this. Therefore I was surprised to discover that they could deliver a kettle but they would charge for the teas. Also we had to request an iron and ironing board which they said they don’t normally offer! All in all a nice resort set in beautiful position only 45 m from Athens and 20 m from the airport. I would recommend having a car so that you can explore the surrounding areas.

Just returned from one week’s stay at the hotel, and have only good things to say. It was amazing! The customer service, across all sectors of the hotel, was exemplary. Too many names to remember, but on Reception/Guest Relations - Panus, Katarina, Gelly. Eli in the Spa. I had a lovely upper back and head massage. Aphrodite restaurant for breakfast. The choice of food and drink for breakfast was outstanding, and well presented and good quality. We ate lunch most days in the Mediterranean seafront restaurant. Again, the staff and food was faultless. We stayed in one of the Mediterranean Seaview rooms. What a view! All in all, a perfect stay. 6* 😀
