A modern marvel located inside an ancient city, NJV Athens Plaza - a Preferred Hotels & Resorts property, part of Preferred Hotel Group - swells with sophistication in this bustling Greece metropolis. Ideally located in Constitution Square, next to the Greek Parliament, this urban oasis offers spectacular views of the Acropolis. A lasting first impression begins inside the jeweled lobby, with its swirl of lounge chairs and stone embellishments. Members of the Parliament often descend upon the hotel for leisurely lunches and socializing. The compilation of rooms and suites evokes a chic and contemporary feel, with relaxing neutral tones and deep crimson accents. Suites have a designer presence, with influences from Ralph Lauren and Versace, plus jutting balconies and soundproof walls that provide a cocoon of comfort.

Location is great in the center of Athens near the Parliment and the hub of shops and restaurants. It appears it is more catered to large tour groups and business type clients. The rooms and they are clean, however, our room had an issue with the shower door leaking. Not just a little but the floor would be flooded. When I called the front desk the first thing I was told before even receiving an apology was "we are fully booked". A maintenace man arrived and came back several times but was unable to fix the problem. This was a Saturday night and they did not send anyone again until Monday. Each time we showered, housekeeping had to come and clean up the water all over the bathroom floor. There was not one night we were able to just return to our room, shower and rest. I was never offered a change of room or any type of remediation. Upon checkout I requested an adjustment on our invoice and was told since it was booked through a 3rd party they would have to address the issue. This is how you are treated for paying e850 a night. The front desk staff also is aloof. The hotel cliental appears to be mostly large tour groups and business clients so they don't really need to go out of their way. This hotel does not match the qualifications of a 5 star hotel.

Lovely hotel, we were so close to where we wanted to eat and shop that it was truly an easy place to enjoy all the activity of Athens. Quiet room, and very hospitable service all throughout the building. We enjoyed our room that had an acropolis view as well as they personally celebrated our 25th anniversary with a heartfelt surprise in our room as we entered. Loved the Korres bath products they provided. Would recommend the hotel to any future guests of Greece.

This is a great hotel if you want to stay in the very center of Athens. My room was huge (not really room but one bedroom flat), nicely decorated, functional and with great furniture. There were 2 balconies. Being in the center of Athens it is expected to be noisy but the windows have good sound isolation. The breakfast buffet was not huge but of high quality. It is definitely a great hotel if you can afford it (I don't know the exact price since my company booked it).

I visit for a couple of nights, and I wish I could stay longer. Very well located, great breakfast and jewel of the crown: the restaurant in the roof. Its has a great view to Acropolis, and the food just excellent.

The rooms were clean and breakfast was great. Excellent location Central to walking to anything in the old town. Prices are a little expensive in the restaurant but we did have pizza a couple times and it was a great. Some people in our tour complained about a funky smell in their room but luckily our experience was good
