We have stayed at the Cordis Auckland several times now and it’s genuinely one of our favourite hotels! Everything feels warm friendly professional and staff are attentive to needs. The what’s app messenger service is amazing! I used it a couple of times recently and very impressed. Rooms are well maintained and feel lovely to spend time in. Rooftop pool is fabulous! Can’t wait for our next visit.

Night out to see a late movie and stayed in the city rather than travelling back to Red Beach. Evrything was good and look forward to trying the buffet at * Restaurant next time when we have more time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most amazing family stay at Cordis! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely five-star. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay special. We celebrated my partner's birthday during our visit, and the team made it extra memorable with thoughtful surprises that exceeded all our expectations. They even organised a treasure hunt for our son, which he absolutely loved and made our family experience even more special. The spa pool was fantastic, the food was delicious, and every part of our stay was perfect. There honestly wasn't a single thing out of place—we had everything we could have asked for and more. Thank you to the incredible team at Cordis for making us feel so welcome. We can't wait to come back!

Had a wonderful time at Cordis as usual. A particular thanks to Anitha who organised colouring and a scavenger hunt for my daughter. Such fantastic hospitality thank you.

Have stayed at this hotel when it was The Langham Hotel and then the Cordis. It is not the hotel it used to be (sadly). We stayed in the new Pinnacle Tower, which was okay, but decided to upgrade our room (even though the hotel was at full capacity), which we were grateful for but after seeing the invoice, it was a rather costly decision; wouldn’t have done it had we known the end cost. Breakfast was included in their restaurant ‘Eight’ and the experience was (I imagine) similar to that of a smorgasbord, which was not pleasant. Apparently the Club Lounge only opens on the weekend (we stayed during the week) for Club Rooms. We decided to have fruit and coffee in the Club Lounge for the rest of our stay which was lovely. We spent most of our time trying to get to the downtown ferry terminal, which was a bit hit or miss as their free van only left on the hour and not always to the terminal. The food in the Champagne Lounge was not great (Pork Bites were overcooked and spicy) and our quiet table was annihilated by the exit of the hundred or so conference attendees to the lift area and bar. The Club Lounge in the evenings was lovely and the staff were amazing (with the exception of two guests in their bathrobes who were kindly asked to leave) Thank you Ellen and Manish. The room(s) were adequate, but not value for money. Bedding was sub par compared to other 5 star hotels. Hotel guests spending their time coughing around the hotel and the hotel van: please wear a mask! Thank you to Ryker for your friendly welcome and assistance with the room changeover. Lovely to see Martin the Concierge still at the hotel. A wonderful gentleman and the hotel is very lucky to have him. Would we stay again? Probably not. If you are paying that sort of money, you might as well stay downtown and have a water view instead of looking at offices and apartment buildings. The hotel has to offer an amazing stay as the location offers nothing.
