Superb Staff
From the moment we set foot in the hotel we had the most amazing service. Chibi on reception at 1.30am so cheerful and welcoming and he got us in our room really quickly. A good nights sleep and breakfast was made special by the warm welcome of Sumana, who ensured throughout our stay that we got a table to our liking. By the end of our stay we felt we had known her for years. We then met Alvin on the great complementary shuttle, a font of fabulous info and history to boot with again a warmth that needs to be bottled! The club lounge was another level. Superb staff, thanks Michelle, Ellen, Everlin. And the whole team , Your presence enhanced our stay and the food on the whole was great too. We had a small problem re our room ( personal preference) Warren and Annie went above and beyond to show us alternatives both lower priced and higher, guess which one we chose! Throughout our stay staff were unconditionally positive and really happy for us that we were spending time with our “grandkids” We had another slight issue with room service up popped Parastoo and solved it. Even Paris at pool reception was a bundle of smiles. Any complaints; we will try to come next time not in school holidays as the pool during the day was impossible. Finally congratulations it takes a lot to run a hotel as big as the Cordis, we were on a tour and stayed in 10 hotels the Cordis staff were the best so👏👏We hope to be back next year

Cordis Auckland is a treat
On arrival, I left my luggage at the desk so I could head to seminars. It was delivered to my room with no fuss. The king-sized bed was very comfortable and the room was a perfect temperature. The heated rooftop pool was a bonus and spa pool as well. I was lucky enough to have the breakfast buffet at the restaurant 8, the like of which I have never seen. Seafood for breakfast - yes ma'am. Ice-cream for breakfast - it was there. So many choices and quite delicious.
