Excellent stay , we had no problems, Perfect from check in to check out. Breakfast and the coffee where excellent, We had dinner one night and again excellent, Staff are fantastic and very helpful. We will stay again next time where in town.

A great hotel but service not quite as good as usual due to new staff and a few cut backs like no nightly turn down in room, no morning newspaper, no fruit in room. Little things that go a long way. A big shout out to Brent out the front , he does a great job 👏!! In the Club lounge Michelle Barbara Ellen and a new employee Evelyn were all excellent and so friendly . Highly recommend anyone looking at staying book a room with Club Lounge access, it’s such amazing value !!

The staff were very kind and nice. The location is good and shuttle service is avaiable every hour though the seats are limited.

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff were encountered during our stay. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely and well provisioned. Its no far to walk to town or the waterfront but there is a regular shuttle if you prefer. The buffet Breakfast was amazing. Loads of choices and great range in a beautiful setting. Go hungry! A beautiful hotel and good value, and exceptional staff.

This isn't a theme resort. It isn't a gilded tower of excess. It's an honest and welcoming luxury hotel. And by that measure is one of, if not the, best hotel I have stayed in (comparing it to Hyatt, Hiltons, and such hotels). My priorities are a comfortable bed (top priority and non-negotiable), a modern, clean room with amenities, friendly and welcoming staff, good general facilities (esp. a decent gym and decent dining). Cordis Auckland beds are extremely comfortable, and the hotel offers a number of free and paid options to make your sleep even better. The rooms are clean and modern (I stayed in a recently renovated room) with very good products amenities and thoughtful simple touches, like a couple of free chocolates in the fridge and a packet of crisps - and more 'bar' options are available for purchase from vending machines on every floor. The most noticeable thing is the comfort and ease with which the staff welcome you and provide their service - there are many top hotels with great service, but it often feels very 'put on'; not at the Cordis Auckland, here it just feels natural. and finally, the facilities provide good high quality options, from the equipment in the gym, the pool facilities and conference rooms to the excellent dining options for breakfast and reasonably priced room service. On my stay, there was a tiny issue with the shower door scraping, and the staff were ready to immediately fix it (though I requested them to take care of it after I checked out because it really wasn't a big deal). I was happy that (maybe for the first time in memorable history), even the toilet seat was properly fixed - tight and straight. All in all, you really have to be nit-picking if you found things to complain about.
