The Hotel Britomart

The Hotel Britomart was exceptional in all regards. It served as a perfect home base for the North Island. Wonderful amenities and excellent service all around. The design of this property was topnotch and innovative.

A terrific stylish hotel in the revitalized port area of Auckland’s CBD. Our room was blissfully quiet…no noise from other rooms or from the outside due to double glazed windows. We chose a corner room with en suite bathroom on level 4 with views of the square and dock area. The two windows on both external walls allowed daylight to flood the room. Black out blinds and sun blinds were great. Once mastered, the digital key pad to operate a/c, lights, temperature and blinds was easy and efficient. The room was comfortable, immaculately clean and with no excess ‘bits n’ pieces’ to annoy guests! The hotel breakfast in Kingi was nourishing and filling. All our interactions with staff were pleasant. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Auckland. Close to attractions and the ferries to Waiheke Island and Devonport. Loved it!

The Hotel Britomart is a sleek, upscale hotel excellently located just a few blocks from the ferry terminal in downtown Auckland. We stayed two nights before leaving for a journey south through New Zealand. It was our first lodging on arrival and exceeded all expectations. Though compact in size and minimalist, our room was well-appointed with attractive and warm, natural-feeling wood and stone. The shower is great. The room was very quiet. Every space in the hotel felt new and contemporary, beautifully designed and curated. The fitness center is small, but was adequate for a workout. The breakfast that came with our room was very good. We’ve come to prefer smaller hotels that don’t attract large events and conferences, and the Britomart fit the bill, feeling very intimate. The hotel was an easy walk to the many restaurants downtown. The hotel provided a lot of information prior to our stay and once there, the staff was welcoming and helpful. In short, the Hotel Britomart is an outstanding downtown hotel and we recommend it highly.

Very good hotel. Modern boutique style. The nice gift bottle of Pinot Noir was great. Very good and efficient staff. Nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Beautiful hotel and perfect for a couple for our 3 nights. Highly recommend. Great location with very friendly service.
