Comfortable stay with great service and convenient location

We had a very pleasant stay at JW Marriott Auckland. The hotel was comfortable, the room was clean and quiet, and the facilities were well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location was also very convenient. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and we would be happy to stay here again.

Great hotel, well situated. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything was well designed and well appointed. JW Marriott is a higher end brand and it shows in every aspect. Easy walk to waterfront and a lot of restaurants.

Great stopover

I was fortunate enough to join my partner (who was on business), and as I’m a Marriott member & we don’t often stay in Marriott’s (we travel a lot overseas) I thought I’d write this review. It’s a beautiful hotel in central Auckland easily accessible to shops at Britimart, the ferries, Wynyard (walk to all of these). Trivet is a very nice restaurant, very safe to eat alone as a female. Gloria was a joy to have serving! Nothing was left to chance. Lovely room, very clean. Very quiet on 4th floor. Would definitely stay again if we need a hotel in central Auckland easily! Receptionist staff Claudia checked us in, Mimi check me out, valet, concierge all excellent. Many thanks for a reviving stopover! Wish could have stopped longer of course. I didn’t have breakfast but I hear it’s great.

Quality Once Again

Absolutely wonderful stay the JW Marriott in Auckland! We have a high lifetime status with Marriott, but status over the years (as with all loyalty programs) has either declined or become non-existent. However, this Marriott property delivered an experience equal to a Marriott property of 30 years ago! Very refreshing to experience 5 star experience in today’s market. Highly recommend JW Marriott Aukland!
