About the Hotel

Overlooking Waitematā Harbour, Park Hyatt Auckland is a sophisticated, waterfront residence that enriches guests with authentic and intimate experiences. Paying tribute to the local culture, the hotel is inspired by the Maori wharenui (house). Just as the wharenui is fundamental to Maori life and the beating heart of New Zealand's indigenous culture, the hotel is a place of gathering that brings families, communities and tribes together in Auckland, a welcoming haven to locals and visitors alike. Stylish and spacious guest rooms incorporate Maori accents, such as custom designed tukutuku panels and rugs, made from New Zealand wool. The hotel's dynamic culinary and event spaces are purposefully designed for guests to socialize, dine and relax across different occasions. After a busy day of exploring, guests can relax and unwind at the spa and 25m infinity pool with sweeping views of Auckland Harbour.

Reviews for Park Hyatt Auckland

Still a great experience.

A very good experience. I have to travel to Auckland for work a few times a year and this hotel makes that a pleasure. It is well located, clean, good amenities (gym, pool, spa/sauna) and good restaurants / food. the rooms remain nicely appointed and clean with good beds and bathrooms. the work space is adequate. the location is good for me. we use the venue space for events for work and the space is great. the lovely dog they have in the lobby is a highlight. the only downside is that Auckland itself is quite run-down, dangerous feeling, and dirty.

A wonderful daddy–daughter stay — thank you!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

My daughter Zoe and I stayed at Park Hyatt Auckland on 12 September for a special daddy–daughter weekend, and we had such a wonderful time. Although we live locally in St Heliers, it felt like a proper little getaway and a lovely opportunity to spend quality time together. A particular thank you to the duty manager, whose warm welcome and friendly approach helped make our stay so memorable. We felt genuinely welcome and well looked after, and I wanted to recognise the difference her hospitality made to our experience. Our room, was absolutely fantastic and a real highlight! Zoe and I had heaps of fun, and the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere made the whole stay a pleasure. For me, these little adventures are about creating happy memories with my daughter, and this stay certainly delivered. Thank you, Park Hyatt team, for making our weekend so lovely. We would love to return!

Another fantastic stay: Above and Beyond

This is such a wonderfully presented hotel and I feel like they regularly, or at least annually, change the decor and artwork in the lobby, as it felt different this year from last year. Staff are always steeped above average and make the extra effort to be polite and engage with you. Views are amazing and rooms are so well laid out Can't wait to stay again as it is an Auckland favourite.
