JW Marriott Auckland

Stayed here for New Year’s Eve and into the new year. Perfect location to head to the CBD. Also, a pick up location for tours. Easy to walk downtown. Taxis were always outside and available. Easy check in. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of freshly baked goods, pastries, or fresh fruit. Great service. Bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Good place to stay downtown Auckland.

We held an event in the ballroom for an end-of-year work function. The events team were excellent. Very professional and friendly. The food and service during the event (including AV services) was first rate. Shiva was in charge and he ran the event flawlessly. Attendees remarked at how well it was catered and how much they enjoyed themselves. We also stayed at the hotel and tried all the dining options. The room was excellent. The restaurants were all very high quality with great service and excellent food. Kureta in particular was an amazing culinary experience. I would highly recommend JW Marriott in Auckland for any conference/event needs. The staff there provide the highest quality hotel and dining experiences. The location is very close to the main public transport hub in downtown Auckland so it is easy to get around.

I have stayed here at the JW Marriott in Auckland on three separate occasions. I met many locals at the hotel pool who informed me that Marriott purchased and remodeled an older hotel and now the JW Mariott in Auckland is their preferred stay location when they are in Auckland. My experience reaffirms this recommendation. The rooms are well designed and clean. The bathroom is an inviting oasis with a full sized tub and shower. The complementary bath salts make for a luxurious experience. The gymnasium is clean with an incredible view of Auckland. Finally, the staff is superlative and accommodating. Twice, I observed the staff handing out refreshments when an unexpected rush of individuals arrived. You cannot go wrong choosing this hotel as a base to explore Auckland.

We had a lovely 5-night stay at this top-notch hotel. The staff was uniformly gracious, friendly, and professional. The facilities and amenities were excellent. The location couldn't have been better, with all of downtown Auckland within walking distance, and the city's extensive public transit system mere blocks away. The food in the Trivet restaurant and the Executive Lounge was superb. Shiva in the Executive Lounge was especially helpful. We would absolutely stay again at this delightful property.

We had a wonderful stay at JW Marriott Auckland. The hospitality from the staff overall was excellent and truly made us feel welcome. The room was well-appointed with all the amenities we needed, which made our stay very comfortable. A special mention to Khusboo from the in-house restaurant Tricenta and her team — they were incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Their attention to detail really elevated our dining experience and made it memorable. The location is also a huge plus, as it’s very central and convenient for getting around the city. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
