JW Marriott Auckland

Absolutely wonderful stay the JW Marriott in Auckland! We have a high lifetime status with Marriott, but status over the years (as with all loyalty programs) has either declined or become non-existent. However, this Marriott property delivered an experience equal to a Marriott property of 30 years ago! Very refreshing to experience 5 star experience in today’s market. Highly recommend JW Marriott Aukland!

I found the stay in this hotel was amazing because the wonderful front desk crew assisted me to find the availability for my room as I needed. After checked in I got a room which I didn’t want but front desk team worked out their very the best to accommodate the room and even escorted me to the new room from old one. Especially Althea and Cateline was there to listen why I need the special room patiently and tried her best to let her manager know. After their manager find out my needs then Joshi worked so hard to find one for me. They showed amazing team work which fascinated me so much. Also Dhrumil carried my luggage to introduce me to the new room with his very respectful manner. Then I met a wonderful lady at the hotel bar :Jade. I wasn’t sure what I want for drink but she patiently explained and trying to understand what fitting me. All these effort showed me what the JW Marriott quality and difference from the other hotels. I definitely want to recommend this hotel for beyond the quality service and hospitality. Thank you again, Joshi, Althea, Cateline to show the best to make my stay so comfortable.

here I had one of the most unpleasant surprises - the hotel is well located, central, but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, and the lack of staff makes the accommodation experience totally unpleasant. The reception staff is overwhelmed by the situation (we took over the room late after 6:30 PM) and totally unprofessional! The waiter at the bar is tired and lacks the desire to serve you properly! I do not recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kristina on the front desk, made our check in process very pleasant. Her professionalism, warmth and desire to go above and beyond to make our stay special is something we greatly appreciated. She did her absolute best to secure us a reservation at Kureta, even though it was fully booked when we first arrived. Our dinner at Kureta was an experience to remember. Loved the cold plunge and hot sauna experience!
