This was our second time staying at the JW Marriott Auckland with our family, and once again, it was nothing short of exceptional. For those of you traveling from just about anywhere other than Australia/Oceania, you know that New Zealand isn't exactly around the corner. It takes quite a bit to get there, and the staff know that. That is why they deliver on every comfort, accommodation, and request for their guests. If work or pleasure ever takes you to the marvelous country of New Zealand, be sure to book your stay at this fine property. Their staff is world-class, the accommodations are pristine, and the location is unbeatable. Perhaps, I'm biased, but how could you not be when a staff of perfect strangers treats you and your young family with the warmth of hospitality one only hopes to receive at a home away from home. A special thank you to Jenny, Kristina, Monika, Sofia, and Kayleigh - you and the rest of the team truly make this property spectacular.

We had a great stay at the newly renovated JW Marriott Auckland. The updates to the property are beautiful, and the wellness amenities really stood out — the pool, gym, and sauna were all excellent and added a nice touch of luxury to our stay. The bar staff, front desk, and housekeeping teams were all fantastic — friendly, professional, and consistently helpful. However, the only downside was the concierge service. We reached out via email before our stay and didn’t receive a response, and even during our visit, it was difficult to get assistance with reservations or local recommendations by phone or in person. Overall, it’s a great hotel in a prime location, and we’d absolutely stay again — just hoping the concierge service improves to match the high standard set by the rest of the team.

Marriot Auckland is a Center Located Hotel offering recently updated room. We got an free upgrade at check in. The breakfast buffet offers a wonderful variety of food. The management is really eager to make the customer experience on a high level and they responded quickly to a complaint.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Location is perfect close to the waterfront and Sky City. Large modern room with a nicely appointed bathroom. One nice touch is they give comp water in glass bottles and on each floor near the lift there is a filtered water tap for refills. Given the lounge was closed my breakfast was in the main restaurant. Excellent buffet selection, hot and cold. I like the selection of cold pressed juices. Gym is quite large for a hotel with a good selection of equipment, cardio and weights. There is also an indoor pool on the same floor. Given lounge was closed evening cocktails were in the bar near reception, but weird timing 4-6pm. Not sure if this is the cocktail our for the actual lounge. So if you are staying for business like I was, probably difficult to enjoy. On my final night I did attend, the drink selection off a special menu for members was actually quite good (wine, beer and some cocktails), but the food was lousy, basically a platter of cold cuts and bread. Overall decent hotel.
