Quick trip to ATX Proper for SXSW
Amazing time enjoying the start of SXSW at the Proper. I stayed for a few nights and booked via Bonvoy points. The service and events were exceptional at La Piscina, the Peacock, and the Quill Room. Giulio organized some amazing music for these spots as well - in particular the Major Lazer show at kappo kappo was a great time. Looking forward to my next visit.

The ONLY place to stay in Austin!
The level of hospitality at the Proper is truly exceptional. Anis and his team, Chris, Marshall, Logan, Giulio, and Tarun (and likely others I’m forgetting) were all incredibly thoughtful and welcoming throughout my stay. They made me feel far more important than I am—which, to me, is the mark of genuinely gracious hospitality. Experiences like this are exactly why Proper is a brand I’ll continue to choose again and again.

Outstanding Hotel, Staff, Food and Beverage program.
Amazing new(er) hotel. Wonderful service, beautiful and quiet rooms. AND some of the best food and beverage I've had in Austin are on-site. The food and service at The Peacock was phenomenal as were the beverages and service at Goldie's. At Goldies, the team takes time to get to know each customer and creates an experience that feels custom/personalized. Also on Sundays - check out Oldies at Goldies and pair vinyl, friendly conversation, and cocktails. Definitely get the bar snacks - they're worth the calories!
