Best bar
Spent a few days at the hotel and the lobby bar is hands down the best bar in Austin. One night Tiffany and Alexis took care of us, and another night it was James and Marshall. We had consistent service from all of them and felt like regulars... they remembered our drinks and somehow made sure we never had an empty glass, even with the bar packed. The pool servers were also great and checked in frequently.

Birthday stay
The staff was very caring and responsive. They let us stay beyond our check out time to let my daughter nap a little longer because she was sick. Kendra and Miguel were very attentive with our car and luggage!

Wonderful
Amazing hotel. Great design, wonderful service, and perfect location. The staff are very welcoming. Try the restaurant Peacock. It’s delicious. Highly recommend.

Superior hospitality
I want to give major props to Jabari and Kendra in valet for assisting me with getting my car in valet and welcoming me to the Proper. There was a rush, but they still were so sweet and nice. I commend them on their providence of superb hospitality! Thank you both and I will be back!

BEST CHURROS IN ATX
From pulling into valet during a rush and leaving with a seemingly faster departure, Kendra was GREAT! She was attentive. She gave a great suggestion of finishing desserts with churros from La Piscina and did not disappoint. It's one thing to have good hospitality, but greater to know that I'm not seen as just another person. ALL STAFF WERE AMAZINGGGG!
