Proper staff always helpful
The staff at the Proper hotel chain always go above and beyond to try to ensure I have a good stay. My family and I have stayed at the Santa Monica and Miami locations and based on our prior experience decided to try Austin for our first trip to the city. Special thanks to Elina at the front desk who was super friendly and helped me find a room to my liking, as well as Megan who found my charger and Nicholas the concierge for some on point restaurant recs. The Peacock restaurant was also a hit with top notch food and service. The gym is great, beds are comfy, and water pressure strong. A few minor negatives included a bit of street/HVAC/late night partly reveler noise in my first room. I would definitely give it another try for future stays.

Top Austin Dining Experience
I have lived in Austin for 20 years and this tops my Austin dining experience list. The chefs were absolutely incredible and each dish built on the last in such a beautiful way. It was absolutely delicious, visually stunning, and every detail is managed from the dinnerware to the service expectations to the overall holistic experience. I would highly highly recommend trying it.

By far the best hotel in Austin
I stayed in this hotel over 50 times. I love the location, the staff, and the decor is outstanding. The beds are incredibly comfortable….and the gym is excellent. A great hotel for a quiet night in the room to work or a fun place to have cocktails at the bar. You can’t miss tea, coffee, and freshly made muffins in the morning in the room to the right of check in…..the best part of my day at the Proper is seeing Evie who works in this room. She’s so kind and always starts my day out with a smile.

Great ambiance, attentive service, and delicious food
Loved our Father’s Day visit to La Piscina, Gabby was great and attentive, food was flavorful, crepes were amazing - and a show stopper with a flambé. Loved decor and ambiance too. Stephen was super prompt and attentive with the valet - overall a great experience!
