Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Resorts Collection

Chris B at PBX is truly one of the most phenomenal hospitality team members who I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. My fiance and I were trying to book Commodore Perry’s as a staycation down the street, but had issues with our online booking and local discount rate applications. We had called the evening prior after booking, but the woman we spoke with was rather cold, and unable to assist (I didn’t get her name). Enter our hero, Chris. He helped my fiance and I get connected with the billing department & Lutie’s to fix our reservation that we had booked for the anniversary of our engagement + NYE, and apply the proper promotion. He thoughtfully and thoroughly answered all of our questions about our long awaited stay and NYE celebration, was enthusiastic and helpful, and made us even more excited for our upcoming stay! He also went back and forth to Lutie’s restaurant multiple times to help us get booked for a special anniversary / NYE dinner, along with the NYE party, and ensure that our needs were accommodated in a caring and attentive fashion. Chris went above and beyond to help correct booking limitations and make our upcoming stay magical before it has even happened! (While we’re technically awaiting updates from the billing department, Chris has been incredibly helpful in the meantime!! We’re hopeful that the other departments from Commodore Perry’s & Lutie’s will be as wonderful as Chris has been, and help to finish addressing the initial website/purchasing issues we encountered, with the same elite level of customer service. We’re excited for an amazing anniversary and NYE experience ahead!)

The Commodare Estate was much more than we expected. The location was easy to find from the airport. We walked to downtown in the morning after a pleasant night of sleep in a quality room. The second morning we had an exceptional breakfast and later a delightful show in the Chaple. The yard was quite walkable and the staff, very professional, yet personable. All around a great experience. Thank you !!

This was our third Thanksgiving week getaway at Commodore Perry Estate, and it was another wonderful experience. All the staff we interacted with—receptionists, restaurant hosts and servers, and valet attendants—were consistently pleasant and helpful. The estate is beautifully maintained, and we especially enjoyed the garden. An adding bonus is that the property is exceptionally dog friendly. Our Pomeranians got so much attentions from everyone and they got a wonderful dog meal ordered from the Mansion!

This property has a lot of potential, but it is not living up to it. The buildings, grounds and rooms are beautiful...there is so much to work with, but the spaces are awkwardly furnished, the food was inconsistent (at best), and the lobby building was over-scented with cleaning supplies and incense. The staff was great, and it was very dog friendly which saved this from being a 3 star review.

Fabulous! Everyone and everything was better than perfect! Sam, Jessica, Iris, Lily, Amanda and Harrah are all the best! Such a great place to stay! Kindness, hospitality and comfort!!!
