Fairmont Austin

Arrived to my room and the sink was clogged and the bottles of water in the counter were already opened and drank. Later learned that someone who was not listed on my room was able to get key cards to my room as well as add parking to my room? How? How do they not ask for id and how did they allow it when no additional names were on the room. Massive security concern and breach of trust.

Fairmont is one of my favorite hotels to visit; however, I am an Austin local and love going to the lobby bar for a relaxing lunch and drink! Josh, the daytime bartender, was absolutely fantastic! He’s professional, personable, and clearly passionate about what he does. His attention to detail and drink-making skills really stand out, and he knows how to craft a great cocktail while making the entire experience enjoyable. Not only is he attentive and easy on the eyes, his friendly demeanor makes you feel genuinely welcome. Whether it’s his professionalism, skill behind the bar, or outstanding customer service, Josh truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend him! P.S.: the Cherry Aperol and the Sangria (pictured) are my personal favorite drinks!

Had an incredible experience. Great facilities onsite. People were amazing. Close to everything. 100% recommend

the room is excellent and the staff helpful. i found it difficult to get to the Moody Center but that was because of construction. i will stay here again next time I am in Austin.

Hotel check in was simple and we were offered lots of recommendations locally to visit. Hotel room was spacious and clean. The pool was great, as was the bike hire (free for 2 hours) Biggest issue we found was the noise levels surrounding the hotel. They are building a convention centre next door and we found lots of noise from 6am onwards. We visited as tourists and felt that the hotel was more focused surrounding conventions etc
