I was really looking forward to my stay, as I’ve heard great things about other Fairmont locations, but unfortunately, this visit fell short of expectations. To start, the front desk phone is answered by an AI system, which made it frustrating to get connected to a real person, it took multiple attempts before I could speak with someone. Additionally, the valet staff seemed disengaged; they were standing around chatting and didn’t greet guests or offer assistance with the front doors. The ongoing construction at the convention center was another major downside. Not only did it significantly impact the view from the rooms, but it also made it difficult for rideshare drivers to find the entrance. Lastly the elevators stopped at every single floor during the ongoing convention, which made it take 10 minutes just getting downstairs.

We absolutely loved our time at the Fairmont Austin. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful the hotel is—modern, stylish, and welcoming all at once. It has such a fresh and contemporary feel without ever being cold or impersonal. Our room was spotless and so comfortable. The bed was dreamy, the space was thoughtfully designed, and it really felt like a little retreat after exploring the city. Everything about it made us feel relaxed and at ease. What stood out the most, though, was the people. Every single person we encountered—whether at the front desk, in the restaurants, or even just passing in the hallway—was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. A special shout-out goes to Berk at the bell desk for anticipating our every need and providing excellent customer service and to the concierge, Jaidan, who shared perfect recommendations for dining and entertainment during our stay. Perhaps most impressive was the unexpected gift and personal note we found in our room on our last day that completely made our evening. That thoughtful gesture captured the kind of care and hospitality that makes this hotel so memorable. We left with big smiles, new friends, and wonderful memories - we’re already looking forward to coming back. The Fairmont Austin is an easy recommendation for anyone wanting comfort, style, and truly exceptional service in Austin.

I recently stayed at The Fairmont for a business conference. After an absolutely horrible inbound flight experience, having supposed to check in around 10pm turned into 4:48am the next day. The gentleman who checked me in was so incredibly helpful. He even took mercy upon my soul and gave me a few bottles of water without even asking. The room was beyond amazing and comfortable. Room service was delicious and the service was delightful. I will absolutely be staying here again when I am in Austin!

It was my second time at this hotel attending the summit. Hotel facility is clean and staff are very professional. Willis who check us in is very polite and courteous. He took care of us from checking in and out.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Fairmont Austin. It is a very beautiful hotel with great amenities. It is close by to Lady Bird Lake and Barton Springs Pool and some great BBQ spots! The roof top pool is one of it's best amenities. A great pool to relax with fabulous service. We had the pleasure of having Elif R. as our pool server during our stay! She was very friendly and attentive and remembered what drinks we ordered the day prior. She is a true ambassador for the hotel!
