I've never stay such a clean place in U.S. My experience is totally changed from a little bit dirty but exciting country to the clean , amazing and safety place.

I had a great time at the Fairmont Austin. It was modern clean and the rooms were spectacular. Food options were amazing and once the evening hit you are on an island as far as options of what to do. Lots of construction surrounding the hotel and can get loud even from the 29th floor. Staff was amazing. Shower was nice but the water temperature sat on extremes of either extremely cold or scalding hot. Soap really didint smell like much for the label that it is. Though there is one interesting....well a few interesting things I would point out. I found it quite interesting that if you forego daily housekeeping you get a $10 credit per day. I think it is interesting to get a credit for them not doing their work. Also $10 seems a little low for a hotel at the fairmont level. Unless they are going on parity with Texas wages (a different conversation but also very low). Before my flight I took some time to enjoy the spa. It was a nice facility but not amazing. It is very small and not really alot to do. For $80 you can get 2 hours of the facilities that are on par with a nice gym. If this is the best spa in austin I definitely would question it. The other thing is when you are lounging in the lobby later in the evening...lets say after 10 PM you notice a different crowd enter in. My jaw hit the floor when over multiple days lounging in the lobby after dinner or chatting with friends that a crew of "workers" entered the building and were roaming around. The very explicit outfits of red stilettos, extremely short sorts, tight tops and quite literally dollar bills in the fishnets gave it away. I had to do a double check to ensure I was in a fairmont in Austin not the Las Vegas strip. Overall it was a a nice trip. There were pros, cons and definitely interesting moments. This has been by far the most Westin Fairmont I have ever been to. Great for what it is but does not stack up against other locations or brands at the same level.

My wife and I had just finished a 7 mile trek around Lady Bird Lake and visited the Fairmont Austin to “recover”. We were fortunate that Joshua Saveda was tending bar and made us feel right at home. Several beers and a burger later, we were on our way to enjoy a great evening. Joshua was exceptionally accommodating and we look forward to our next visit!
