Disappointing Check-In Experience and Lost Property Credit

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Very disappointing service experience. I booked two separate reservations for two nights, each with a $100 property credit. At check-in, the front desk combined the reservations without telling me that doing so would reduce my benefit to only one $100 credit instead of two. No one explained this in advance or asked for my consent. I would not have agreed had I known I would lose one of the credits. This lack of transparency left a very negative impression. Guests should be clearly informed before staff make changes that affect the benefits attached to their booking.

All night noise from cars revving and/or racing make sleeping here hard

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

A modern hotel with nice rooms and common areas. Great bar on 8th floor. it would be worth the high price but for one thing: On the Saturday night i tried to sleep here, it sounded like the one street was a drag racing strip. Loud noise from car engines roaring and no indication that Austin police made any effort to shut it down. Be careful. ask about getting your room on the quiet side of the hotel.

Perfect wedding night hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My now wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding and she stayed here the night before the room was amazing. The service was great. The café has great coffee and pastries. The spa has very skilled employees. Location is great right next to the trail and also downtown

Cafe at the Loren

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The Café at The Loren is my go-to spot after a walk around Town Lake. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming—perfect for sitting with a coffee and unwinding, especially with my dog by my side. What really makes this place special, though, is the staff. Brian is always a friendly face—so kind, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of every time you walk in. It’s those personal touches that keep me coming back again and again. It’s my favorite place to get an almond milk latte
