Rude Concierge. I checked in and arrived close to 11 PM after a long stressfulday and that process went smoothly and I even mentioned to the staff why I chose to stay here and that it was my second time visiting. When I called the next day to request a late checkout, the concierge was extremely rude. She told me they were really busy today and they wouldn’t be able to accommodate that and then hung up on me. This was very upsetting to me as she did not even care to hear my reasons for needing to request late checkout. I called and spoke with the manager, and she did correct this which I appreciate, but the whole interaction with the rude concierge really was unnecessary, unpleasant, and not how I was wanting to start my day. It was also pretty shocking to have an interaction with someone like that at a nice hotel… There are people with better customer service skills at a Holiday Inn then this particular individual. I’m not sure what her problem was, but I hope the management is able to help her correct this.

stayed here as a staycation with a friend for a concert and it exceeded my expectations. Everyone was professional and friendly. Nido was a great place to eat as well. We will be going back.

-Atmosphere felt very high-end. -Room was very nice as well as the bed however the WiFi didn’t work. I told the front desk and apparently only the floor I was on had bad connection. Also the cellular data its almost completely cut off on that floor as well so communication was difficult. -The TV was poor for an Austin 5-star hotel, it made me feel like I was watching TV in 2008 at my grandmothers house. It’s dial up and down with no guide and limited TV channels. -I heard everything that happened outside of the room. Every door that staff or other guests opened, the, I’m assuming, washer and dryer above the room running, footsteps, and people talking. The walls are poorly thin and that disturbed the overall comfort that the room had offered. -Lastly at the Nido restaurant for breakfast, we were poured slightly green-tinged water that the waiter noticed and immediately replaced. Later on he came to refill our cups and used the same pitcher that had the green water by accident and noticed it again. Not sure where that water came from but I’m glad I was paying attention. *This didn’t affect the rating but I was sad that the AWESOME robes weren’t free of charge and $120 per robe, those were very nice*

Great check in experience and great valet. It can be pricey but the location is absolutely perfect. Great for walking, parks, splashpads, and the theater for plays is right there. Shout-out to Thomas for making our checkin extra comfortable and special.

I chose The Loren for a solo writing retreat, and it exceeded every expectation. The views, peaceful atmosphere, spacious room, and thoughtful design created the perfect environment to rest, think, and write. Every member of the team made me feel genuinely welcomed. The gentleman who checked me in, the valet and bell staff, Caitlyn, and the team at Milk + Honey, especially Alex and Erinn, all delivered exceptional hospitality. My massage was outstanding, and the service throughout my stay was consistently warm and attentive. I also appreciated the rooftop dining experience and the sense of calm that carried throughout the property. My only suggestions would be to expand the room service menu for longer stays and make access to the spa a bit more seamless. Even so, this was a five-star experience that left me rested, productive, and already planning my return for another writing retreat. I highly recommend The Loren to anyone looking for luxury, tranquility, and exceptional hospitality.
