My husband and I returned to Omni Barton Creek to celebrate our anniversary, and we had a wonderful stay. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and always well cared for, and the staff truly made our visit special. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and treated with genuine hospitality throughout our stay. We did experience a couple of small hiccups, but what stood out most was how quickly and graciously the staff stepped in to make things right. Their responsiveness and care meant a lot to us and showed how committed they are to ensuring guests have a great experience. Overall, we left feeling appreciated, relaxed, and grateful. Omni Barton Creek continues to be one of our favorite places to stay, and we look forward to returning again.

Beautiful hotel inside and out with friendly employees BUT since it’s isolated you’re dependent on the restaurants which are a problem. I think part of it is understaffing. We waited 20 mins for a table at breakfast and there were many available tables. 45 mins for a yogurt parfait and English muffin that were sent back because it was toasted for maybe 10 seconds. Coffee and eggs another day cold. 45.00 daily fee ludicrous

My husband and I were craving a weekend getaway (within driving distance from Houston) that had a resort-style feel and this place was just perfect! The rooms were nice (maybe not as updated as the one in Frisco but still very nice). The staff was very friendly. There are a lot of food options on the property. We did the sports bar, breakfast buffet (there was a bit of a wait when we went around 10 am) and Bob's, as well as the bar in the lobby. We also had lunch at the pool twice and the food was good. You definitely don't need to leave the property if you don't want to. The bar even had live music both nights of our stay. The pools are nice but they do get crowded (understandable given this was the tail end of our spring break) but it never felt too crowded to me, and service was still solid. The grounds and those hill country views are just beautiful. Did not do golf or spa so can't comment on either. We will definitely return!

Beautiful property, but unless you can expense account the golf, the greens fees are exorbitant. For me and my wife to play it would cost close to $800 for one round. If my two grown sons were with us it would be close to $1200. We played off site at Grey Rocks and Falconhead. for less than half that.

We had a lovely stay celebrating my birthday with friends. The resort is beautiful, the setting is peaceful, and the overall atmosphere is very enjoyable. The team was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, and we especially appreciated Eric’s professionalism and thoughtful advice. There were however a few details that could be improved for a property positioned at this level. Upon arrival, our room was ready about 1 hour and 30 minutes later than the expected check-in time. The receptionist kindly offered drinks while we waited, which we appreciated, though when we ordered Spritz cocktails we unfortunately had to pay for them as they did not process correctly in the system. After such a delay, it would have been nice to simply enjoy the drink of our choice. The adults-only pool area also felt somewhat limited considering the capacity of the resort. Earlier in the day there were no lounge chairs available, so we initially had to sit near the family pool area. Finally, the room could benefit from a design refresh, particularly the bathroom where some finishes appear slightly dated. As a French interior designer, I may be especially attentive to these details in a property with such a refined positioning. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Everyone at the Barton Creek Golf Resort in Austin, Texas, treated us like royalty. We ended up getting a suite on the top floor over looking the golf course. The suite was so large that it occupied almost half of the top floor. Included with the package was golf, massages and meals. Boy, did we get treated great!!!
