Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa

My wife and I chose the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa for a special Valentine's Day weekend, and we left with a story that every traveler and hotelier should hear. While our stay was filled with moments of genuine excellence, it was how the leadership team handled a post-departure issue that transformed our experience from merely great to truly legendary. First, the service during our stay was simply impeccable. It began the moment we arrived, with a warm and professional welcome from Luke Muelert at the front desk. He graciously explained our American Express Hotel Collection benefits and set a wonderful tone. This commitment to excellence was a constant theme. Our Valentine's dinner at Bob's Steak & Chop House was fantastic, with the team accommodating a last-minute change to our reservation. At breakfast in the Texas Spice restaurant, Rafael and Alejandro provided attentive, personalized service that made us feel like the only guests in the room. Our days relaxing at the adult pool were made perfect by Ilayda, whose professional and friendly demeanor made us feel like family. And an evening at Crenshaw's Bar & Eatery was highlighted by Andrew, who crafted a perfect signature Old Fashioned to complement a delicious appetizer. The initial hiccup occurred after we returned home. We realized we had inadvertently left three garments in the closet of room 545. Our first few calls to resolve this (resulting in Lost and Found Report ID 44218664) were frustrating and left us concerned. This is where the story takes an incredible turn. Following my initial review, I was personally contacted by Ms. Sarah Petersen, the Area Director of Loss Prevention. Her approach was a masterclass in guest recovery. She took complete and immediate ownership of our situation, expressing sincere concern. Through her diligent efforts, she personally located two of the three items. For the final garment, she offered a generous replacement without hesitation. Then, in a gesture that went far above and beyond anything we could have expected, Ms. Petersen offered us a certificate for a future return stay to ensure our next experience was flawless from start to finish. This is what sets a world-class resort apart. It's not just about providing a perfect stay; it's about the integrity and commitment shown when things don't go perfectly. The actions taken by Ms. Petersen and the Omni leadership team didn't just solve our problem—they earned our complete loyalty and admiration. We are deeply grateful for their extraordinary effort and cannot wait to return. Highly, unequivocally recommended.

A wonderful experience overall! Luke was amazing and helpful at front desk. Sylvia did my hair and all I can say is WOW. Rooms are very nice. Everything you need is all in gorgeous place!

Thanks Randi! This was the best stay I've had in years. I will be seeking out Omni properties in the future. The staff, room service, and views were top notch! Plenty of toiletries and amenities made it so I didn't need to ask for anything. It's a BIG hotel... I didn't see half of it but my room and the coffee shop (velvet joes) were an oasis. Shout out to the male barista who remembered my drink order and name all week too!

The overall hotel experience was perfect. Great rooms, beautiful location. I was there for a conference and every detail was excellent, especially the banquet food. Lloyd at the front desk was the best ever!

Lovely staff, beautiful grounds and common areas. A bit remote so without a taxi/car you do not have many options around there. Rooms are clean and spacious. Dining for Vegans is very limited even the snack shop had very few options so bring your own snacks, (nuts, bread etc)
