Best Hotel stay in years!
Best hotel experience we’ve had since the Lanham in NY. We stayed one night at Thompson Hyatt in Austin last year and were impressed enough to come back. This year was wonderful — service, food, gym. Many improvements. Will see you next year!

Very nice, but not extraordinary at the Thompson
Hotel is built to Thompson design standards, but it showing wear and tear for only being 3 years old. Outdoor furniture cushions are worn damp. Pool area was shared with apartment residences which had select reserved cabanas. Staff was professional but not did not provide hotel information at check in, but rather relied on using a QR code to detail amenities. Hot water for our shower took 10 minuets to get hot, maintenance seemed to know about this issue and suggested we let the water run for a while. No follow up from guest services to see if the issue was corrected. Overall everything was very nice, but not extraordinary.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Raphael he greeted me with a warm smile and genuine professionalism. He handled my luggage with care, offered thoughtful suggestions about the hotel and surrounding area, and made sure I had everything I needed before heading to my room. What stood out most was his attentiveness—he anticipated questions before I even asked them and took the time to ensure I felt welcomed and comfortable. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, his dedication and friendliness made a lasting impression.
