Magic place for couples in Austin, TX
The location is great, it's only a couple of yards from 6th Street. The atmosphere is amazing, it was a great restaurant and bar on the 4th floor. The Rooms are modern and minimalistic, with a bathroom and bedroom incorporated. The value was on the top, I spent less than I expected for 5 days. The cleanliness was perfect. The noise is something that you can expect if you are in the noisiest streets in Austin. The service was sensational, I went in a motorcycle, and they gave me a place to park. They gave us water at the front desk. Details create magic moments. Thank you.

Best thing about this hotel is valet Marquis!
This is specifically about the valet Marquis! What a friendly guy and super helpful with great local tips - practically a concierge :) our stay at the hotel was not memorable but we had to make sure Marquis was duly recognized as we’re yet to see such a great valet person. Thank you Marquis! Franklyn’s bbq was the best :)

The real reason I come back
Just want to give a shout out to the valet team, especially Nicolas, who has greeted me each time as a friend. His professionalism combined with warmth and sincerity has been a big factor in my choice to return to the Thompson again and again. The whole is great, just wanted to spotlight Nicolas. Great hotel in the heart of the city.
Thompson austin did not disappoint. From the amazing concierge service, to the outstanding housekeeping and superb food and beverage staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the Austin area. Particularly if youarw here on business or if you are a younger and like to go out to sixth street at night. Very convenient for bars and restaurants. Overall, food was excellent, gym was perfect, location was great.
