Disappointing stay, not what you'd expect from JW Marriott We stayed for two nights at the JW Marriott Turnberry in and unfortunately encountered a string of problems that made this feel far from a luxury experience. Room layout: The space between the bed and the wardrobe was so narrow (less than half a foot) that the wardrobe was essentially inaccessible for the entire stay. Early morning noise: On Saturday morning, a garbage truck pulled up outside our third-floor window on the golf course side for a pickup at 7:30am and idled with its engine running for almost 30 minutes, waking the whole family. Room service failure: After attending a World Cup quarterfinal match, we came back to the hotel hungry with two young kids and ordered room service before 10pm — not a late-night order by any stretch. We received no warning of delays. The food took two hours to arrive, despite multiple calls from us and repeated false delivery estimates from staff. By the time it showed up, our kids were long asleep, and we had to refuse it. There is no excuse for this kind of delay at a property positioning itself as luxury. Housekeeping mix-up: On the morning of the game, we asked the front desk if our room could be cleaned within the hour so it would be ready when we returned to get dressed. We were told it wouldn't be a problem. Three hours later, we came back to find housekeeping had only just started. We had to turn them away and get ready in an unmade room — frustrating given what we were paying. Billing issues: At checkout, our folio showed a duplicate charge, obvious from the identical check number, which we had to point out ourselves before it was removed. Despite raising all of the issues above at checkout, the hotel offered no compensation. Two days later, I found the duplicate charge had been re-added to my credit card. I spent 42 minutes!!!!!!!!! on the phone with billing trying to get them to remove a charge that was clearly duplicated, down to the identical check number. They never took me off mute or explained what was happening and instead sent me an email that they would take the double charge off. Why not tell me!!?? Pretty shady behavior. The only compensation offered throughout this entire experience was 10,000 Marriott points which is worth about $80 and only for the room service issue. Summary: For the price point, encountering this many issues in a two-night stay is genuinely disappointing. Between the room service failure, housekeeping miscommunication, noise disruption, and billing errors (including one that recurred after being "fixed"), I can't recommend this property. Avoid.

It was a great staycation at JW Marriott Turnberry nice property with some many amenities and a family friendly oriented property. Kids had a great time at the cove with the lazy river pool and splash water. Room was very comfortable and people very friendly from arrival to checkout times. I would have to thank everyone especially some that made our times special starting from arrival with Owayron, Chester and Danish as they were very professional and informative. Also, Fabrice was amazing at checkout times and very nice to my kids thanks again Fabrice and can’t wait to be back. Thanks everyone 🙏🏾

I love Jw, but this was by far the worst JW I’ve ever been to. There was no fun allowed. It costs $45 per person to go tot he pool (there is a free adult pool but you can’t take your kids). In the pool, you can’t throw your kids up. You can’t chicken fight. They even yelled at a guy for being underwater too long because “to the cameras it looked like he was drowning”. To top it off, I paid $95 for a Blanton bourbon double, but it’s quite clearly Buffalo Trace. Do not recommend.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received from Klesha. They treated us terribly, and on top of that, there were 2 cockroaches in our room. Klesha offered no solution and left us waiting a lot of time just to switch rooms. Do not stay here — service was awful.

Our stay at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the level of hospitality exceeded our expectations. A very special thank you to Stephanie at the Front Desk, who truly made our experience unforgettable. She went above and beyond to make sure my family and I felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Along with Mr. Charles, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They assisted us with both our late check-in and late check-out, surprised my daughter with beautiful birthday decorations and thoughtful birthday touches, and even offered complimentary beverages. Those gestures meant so much to us. Luxury hotels can have beautiful facilities, but what truly sets an exceptional hotel apart is the people who work there. The genuine care, professionalism, and kindness of the staff made all the difference. The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and every team member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We’d also like to recognize Omar at the Water Park, who provided outstanding service with a great attitude and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. What impressed me the most was that this wasn’t just how they treated us. I noticed the same warmth and professionalism with other guests throughout the resort. Without a doubt, Stephanie deserves the gold star for making our family feel so special. Thank you to the entire team for creating such wonderful memories. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for outstanding service and true hospitality.

I just returned from one of the most wonderful hotels I've stayed in. I bid on and won an auction on Luxury Link to Turnberry Isle Miami, which included five days of golf. IT WAS WONDERFUL! And so luxurious!

We booked Turnberry Isle Miami through Luxury Link and stayed for 9 days on a spectacular golf package. The hotel was fantastic! Beautiful upgraded balcony room overlooking the golf course. Great buffet breakfast. Fantastic golf on two excellent courses. Our golf package included the mandatory caddy fees, which added to the incredible value. I could not speak more highly for this hotel, and Luxury Link.
