JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa

My stay at the JW Marriott Aventura was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Every detail reflected true luxury and exceptional hospitality. The food and drinks were a major highlight of the experience. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. From breakfast to dinner and especially the cocktails everything was flavorful, well-crafted, and exceeded expectations. The bar program is top-tier, with creative, perfectly balanced drinks that made relaxing at the hotel even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Boris in VIP Services, who went above and beyond to make the stay seamless and elevated in every way. Alyssa at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, and Cam provided outstanding service that made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and the service across the board was exceptional. I can’t recommend the JW Marriott Aventura highly enough and can’t wait to return. I've booked my next trip for January :)

First time we stayed here & it was much better than expected. We chose this JW for the waterpark for our kids but it was equally as good for my wife & me. While it was busy for Thanksgiving, the service was five stars. We were never told no for any request. There are also two different adult pools if you want to escape or are worried about too many kids. And don’t fear about the pool temp…all were warm for us & the kids. The previous reviews had me worried as a pool snob. Front desk manager Monica was the best as was Tidal Cove manager Cesar.

My husband and I have been to this resort 5 times in 3 years. Beware….my husband was roofied. Watch your drinks from the pool bar and the main hotel. He pours tequila, from the blue and white bottle. So Sad to say we don’t feel safe there again.

Boris was absolutely fabulous! His outstanding service made our stay truly exceptional. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Our family had a wonderful stay at the Turnberry. We stayed in the junior suite in the Jasmine building (top floor, baby!), and the room was spotless, luxurious, and spacious, which made it perfect for our kids to spread out and enjoy themselves. It felt both elegant and comfortable. The water park was easily the highlight of our trip. With plenty of slides, pools, and splash areas, it offered endless fun for the kids while still feeling safe and well-supervised. Lifeguards were attentive, and the layout made it easy for parents to keep an eye on little ones. It’s truly designed with families in mind. Breakfast service was excellent, especially the outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. Starting the day with great food and such a beautiful view was a treat. Maybe it could use more pescatarian options if I had to be critical. Oh and the check-in and check-out experience was flawless. It's like they had everything ready and all I had to do was hand over my credit card and boom, I've got my room cards. The grounds were immaculate and well-maintained. Everywhere we went, from the lobby to the gardens, felt cared for and inviting. Between the spacious rooms, the incredible water park, and the thoughtful service, this resort truly exceeded our expectations. Any family visiting Miami should make it a priority to stay here. We can’t wait to return.
