JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa

Spent an afternoon of relaxation and absolute zen at Ame Spa. From the moment you arrive, the team makes you feel at home and at ease. Every touch point was perfect. A heartfelt thank you the Spa Director Lilly and Spa Attendant Dwayne who provided me with a warm welcome, and Evangelina and Fallon who made all of my stress melt away. Will definitely be rebooking my return soon!

Extremely disappointed in lack of customer service. Management was unresponsive to multiple requests to speak to them. Check in process was a nightmare. Got there close to 5:00pm and room was not ready (mind you check in time is 4:00). After standing in line for 15 minutes to be told my room wasn’t ready, I then got to stand in line again for another 10 minutes once I got the text it was actually ready (around 6pm). The hotel did nothing to make it right, management never reached out after I made three separate requests to speak to them. On top of the terrible check in process, there was a black curly hair in the “clean”glass in the hotel room that caused me to gagged as I saw it. Resort charges an automatic 18% gratuity (which I have no problem with if service met that). But multiple times had to ask for refills on water, drinks, etc. Worst lounge I have ever experienced. Every Marriott I have ever been in provides a full-blown breakfast in the morning. This lounge had muffins, croissants, fruits, and coffee…. that was it. I couldn’t used the outlet on nightstand to charge my phone at night. Called Engineer to come in and he said it was the way things are wired and he couldn’t do anything about it. As soon as the light switch is turned off, so is everything else in that circuit. So had to charge my phone in the bathroom which was not ideal since I use my phone for my white noise. We payed way too much money for the experience we received. Extremely disappointed as a Platinum Elite.

We are currently staying at the hotel and there is a real housekeeping problem. We arrived in our room late at night and found a dirty sock nestled in the curtains. We alerted the front desk in the morning but when we returned in the evening the dirty sock was still there. There are also stains on the furniture and carpet. At this point in my stay, I would not return to this hotel.

We have now visited this hotel two times. Each time we have had issues. This is a costly hotel. We had a one bedroom suite. The rooms are nice but service is awful and no real Marriott benefits. The so called club is a joke. Very little food and short hours. We needed a late check out and they forced us out at 11am. No place to print other than for a fee. When they cleaned our suite they gave us one bath towel for 3 people. They say the golf course view is the upgraded room but you get to hear the noise of cutting the grass at 6am. I think there are many better hotels for this price.

What an absolutely amazing hotel with exemplary service! There is so many things to do while on property and so many things within walking distance if you want to venture. Couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Shout out to Adam for making our stay comfortable and being so warm and hospitable. We would definitely come back!
