Two days before we were supposed to leave for Colorado my wife's purse was stolen. Because we were going to be gone for eight days we decided to send the replacement for her only credit card to the Western Riverfront where we would be staying for five days. Evidently the credit card arrived a couple of days before we did, but when we checked in, we were not notified that it had been delivered. And when we asked if there were any messages, they said they couldn't access them at the reception desk. After we returned home, we called the credit card company to find out where the credit card was and they told us that the credit card had been delivered two days before we arrived to Colorado. So I called the hotel and ask them if they could send me the credit card? They told me they could send it back to the credit card company or I could pay to have it expedited to Dallas by FedEx to the tune of $98.23. Since we needed the credit card I agreed. But after I got to thinking about it, I felt like since it was their mistake they should cover that $98.23 since then I have asked for a refund, an initially customer service from the Marriott said they understood the problem and since I was a platinum elite number, they would do their best to make it right. Evidently, however, the hotel itself has the authority rather than Marriott corporate to deny such decisions and after two attempts to get them to change their mind, I have had no luck. At every level I have been told basically that it was my responsibility to pay the FedEx fee because I chose to have them send it that way. They had me between a rock and a hard place, we needed the credit card and I had no other choice, but in any event, it was making up for their mistake and lack of quality systems in their hotel. So I would not recommend staying there, not because we didn't enjoy it and not because it wasn't a nice place to be but because their systems and their corporate structure doesn't believe that the customer is always right. And while this $98.23 doesn't seem like a big thing, if they really believed in treating their customers as they advertise, then it would be no big deal to them to refund.

We visited the Westin Riverfront July 5-8. When we checked in a young man named Ina helped us. He was very welcoming and answered all our questions. During our stay we saw him a couple times and he always went out of his way to assist us. We enjoyed our visit, even when the power went out for several hours! Thanks Ina.

We only stayed here for one night while driving back from Snowmass to Denver, and I have to say, I wish we had planned a longer stay. The resort is absolutely beautiful and has so much to offer. We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom suite, which was perfect for our family and made our short stay very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with more options than I could count and something for everyone. The valet service was fast, courteous, and made arriving and departing hassle-free. The resort also has several excellent on-site restaurants, and if you prefer something quick, there are plenty of fast-food and casual dining options within walking distance. Even though we were only there for one night, the experience left a great impression. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely stay longer. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures to share

We requested a pet free room for allergy reasons. It was not a pet free room. There is a significant resort fee which provides nothing. There was not even a concierge to help with suggestions or reservations. Very disappointing.
