Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, Maldives

My experience on this island was absolutely amazing — even better than I could have imagined. I’ll always keep such beautiful memories of my time there

Our stay at Coco Palm has been nothing short of amazing from warm welcome to delicious food to unbelievable excursions to sunset drinks. The food at the Cowrie restaurant was delicious and there was plenty of variety to try something new each day - and included plenty of options for allergies and dietary preferences. The beach was gorgeous and we even spotted turtles not to mention reef sharks and a sea of different colorful fish by our lagoon villa. The villa is spacious and very comfortable. We went on three boat excursions (manta snorkelling, reef hopping, and a special turtle excursion), which were the highlight of the trip - the staff on the excursions made sure we got to see as much marine life as possible. Special thanks to Hajiba who took care of us when we first arrived, Nasif at dive center for an amazing experience and Zaaid and Simah for making the excursions so wonderful! We will definitely go back again.

Wonderful location. The beach sunset rooms are very nice and large. Great privacy with a beach umbrella and 2 comfortable loungers. Very good food. Very kind staff.

An amazing island full of wildlife (turtle sanctury, birds, lizards, sealife), a lovely house reef easily accessible for snorkeling (the diving centre can lend equipment for free for the duration of the stay). Whilst not a huge island by any means, we still found we walked a lot during our stay, the paths are absolutely beautiful and the beach pristine (the sunset side is wide and picture-perfect, the sunrise side is much narrower but shaded from the strong sun for a good part of the day - perfect for our children to play). The villa numbers in the 70s would have been perfect (sunrise side), their beach was a little wider than ours (N° 61) and not so far from reception/restaurant/bars. We often had shoals of fish outside our villa with preying black-tipped sharks, just fabulous. We stayed all inclusive, worth it if only for the varied buffet offerings and cocktails! The staff were all amazing and treated our children like royality. There is a small souvenir shop, with the usual Maldives prices! We really enjoyed our stay, from the seaplane transfer to the peaceful natural surroundings. It was nice to not have a TV. There were some small details that would make this place really special and lift it above a very good 4 star, but nothing that even remotely spoilt our holiday.

This was the trip of a lifetime for us. Coco Palm is a hidden gem. The views were stunning, the people were welcoming, and the environmental focus was inspiring. We hope to be back someday, it was the type of place where we wanted to stay forever.
