Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru

We just returned from our fourth stay at Landaa Giraavaru, and once again, we were beyond impressed. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back — the outstanding service, the friendly and attentive staff, and the consistently high standards in every detail. It truly feels like coming home each time we visit. Thank you to Ahmed, Francisco, Shidad, Dika, Cody, Indra, Margarita, and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Wow, just wow - if you have the opportunity to visit the Maldives, this is the island to visit. The island itself is beautiful and the hotel complements, rather than imposes. Every sense is considered and we particularly loved the different scents in the room each evening. The array of land and sea activities was fabulous and there was so much flexibility with the schedule to accommodate the weather (it was windy during our stay) and the presence of sea life - Manta on call is a must! We stayed in both a beach and water villa - both were outstanding, but the nightly visits from rays and sharks to our water villa mean that this is the one we will return to. Each restaurant had a different offering and all were as good, if not better, than the best restaurants in London. Our special thanks go to Jerry for truly making our holiday. He took so much time to understand what mattered to us and made our holiday a really personal experience which we will never forget. We will be back!

With this review, I’d like to celebrate every team of FSLG who made this vacation a wonderful experience. Tony fm the lounge would serve you the best coffee in the Maldives. Then, you would arrive at LG, and Mojo helps you with your check-in kindly and welcomes you with a beautiful smile. Aasil would perfectly take care of you at the beach. Mr. Suhail, the manager of the retail shop, ensures that all your needs are met right and on time. He does show you what great service looks like with love and care. Simone and Adil fm housekeeping, thanks for all the support. Only Bini from Al Barakat can cope with my dry humour and always puts a big smile on my face. The chefs of this restaurant are so humble that it was a great honor shaking their talented hands. Dika and the lovely Nepalese lady fm Fuego Grill gave us such a memorable last night. The Blu Beach, the Banyan tree, and the Begainville in front of Cafe Landaa are divine. God has created this property for us to have a taste of heaven. When walking under the bright moonlight on the silky smooth sand, we both felt grateful and healed. Finally, the gentleman and the chef who went through a decent amount of mangoes to find the one, for me to have right before I left to enjoy one more time, I’m eternally grateful for your candid, heartfelt service and authenticity! People visit the Maldives hoping to find their island paradise and we found ours at Landaa Giraavaru From the moment you set foot on this magical island resort everything is perfect. Nothing is found wanting - Four Seasons have thought of everything to make the guest experience extra special. To give just one small example - they light lanterns and scented incense candles along all the islands paths at night. You could almost find your way blindfolded following the most glorious scent along the lush paths! The food is sublime at every restaurant - Al Bharaket gave our family the best meal we have ever experienced and could anyone imagine a better and more extensive breakfast offering than Cafe Landaa? - I don’t think so although the Eggs Benedict at Blu were also sublime. The rooms are gorgeous, the infinity pools and the amazing snorkelling trips run by the Manta Ray Trust including the world famous Manta rays in Hanifaru Bay make the Four Seasons an unforgettable experience. The staff are all incredible : friendly yet professional, kind and attentive without being intrusive. They really care about getting it right and they manage it all the time. If you want to get away from it all this is the place to come. Everything and more you want from a 5 star hotel. Without doubt the best stay we have ever had anywhere in the world. Understated refined luxury. You won’t believe how good this place is and you won’t ever want to leave.

Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru!! After leaving another resort in the Maldives deeply disappointed, arriving at Landaa Giraavaru at short notice felt like stepping into paradise. From the first moment, it was clear this is a truly special place. Despite us arriving unexpectedly, the team welcomed us with warmth and efficiency, turning what could have been a ruined holiday into something unforgettable. The island is stunning in every way, pristine beaches, lush greenery, turquoise waters , but what sets Landaa apart is the soul of the resort. Their commitment to sustainability isn’t a slogan; it’s lived every day. The marine rescue centre and dive team are world-class, and watching their work with turtles and marine life was not only fascinating but genuinely inspiring. The people here are extraordinary. Yoosuf, Zaneta, Toli, Francisco; just a few who stood out , but truly every single staff member was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel cared for. Service here isn’t robotic; it’s heartfelt. That’s rare, and it makes all the difference. The food was really good throughout, fresh, varied, and beautifully presented and I know they are working to take this to the next level. Our villa wasn’t the largest we’ve ever stayed in, but it was perfectly designed, luxurious in a thoughtful way, and housekeeping touches made it feel like home. And then the marine life… absolutely magical. Snorkeling, diving, or just walking along the beach, every moment felt like discovering a living postcard. This was a milestone trip for us, and Landaa not only rescued it, they elevated it into one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Luxury here isn’t just about villas or amenities….–it’s about heart, people, and respect for nature. If you’re coming to the Maldives, don’t hesitate – Landaa is everything a true luxury resort should be. If you are thinking of going.. do so!
