Dirty dirty dirty

This is the filthiest hotel I’ve ever seen. Housekeeping never came (I went to the lobby twice to ask for cleaning), dirty food crumbs when we checked in and hair and lint all over the floors. Crazy because almost every recent review mentions this and the management replied to everyone saying they’re sorry and they’re going to address it. Seems like they’re never going to address it.

I want to love this hotel but the rooms are FILTHY! Everything looks clean at the surface but then you find bread crumbs on the table when you check in, hair balls and lint bunnies on the floor, dirty sticky stuff on the ice box tongs…the elevators are SO SLOW. Prepare to wait 5-8 minutes every time you call for it. And not because the hotel is busy- they seem to just stall on floors. And also stall when you’re in them! And lastly the coffee shop staff is so rude. Rolling their eyes because you ask for a lid for your coffee cup? Gross

Really Dirty Room

I have never written a review on TripAdvisor but feel compelled to so. First, the compliments. The valet, and bell hop staff were awesome. Very friendly and super helpful. The lobby and pool areas are super nice and modern. The rooms are well decorated. However, when i got to my room, the carpet in the hallway was extremely dirty, food, paper etc and it was not vacuumed until the following evening. My room had cigarette butts left on the terrace and there was one in the room by the bed. There was hair in the sink. The biggest thing was the floors were filthy. My feet turned black (no carpet but wood vinyl of some sort) when I walked on them and when I called housekeeping to get slippers they said the hotel had none. I had to wear my socks which got very dirty. The refrigerator was non functional because of ice build up (needs to be defrosted), every time I went to the front there was only one person working there and always a line. Finally the express check out box had no more forms in it and I could not get a final print out of my bill because the printer was not working. I would not have written this if it was anything but the dirty room. That is just not acceptable to me and what I really care about.

Stayed here over new years. The lobby is gorgeous. Pools are well taken care off although get shade quickly. The beach was beautifully maintained. Delicious food at the restaurant. Great location for everything. The problem was the room and service. We had a one bedroom suite for a family of 4. The big bathroom had a broken vent so the bathroom, and thereby the entire room, smelled like bad body odor the entire time. The tub in the bathroom was broken all along the bottom so the one time we used it the entire floor was flooded. Our room was cleaned only one time over 5 days. We texted their support multiple times with zero response. The front desk at checkout didn’t even know what text support we were referring to, even though they gave us the info at check in. We called multiple times- no response. We spoke downstairs- nothing. No new towels. No clean room or trash taken out. And silverfish on the floors in the bathrooms. I understand they’re busy over new years and they did comp us a small percentage at checkout, but really, this is inexcusable for allegedly a high caliber hotel.
