On the north shores of Miami Beach, Florida, the unpretentious The Beach House Hotel welcomes guests into an atmosphere of sophisticated chic. Casual cool comes in the form of classic city-view rooms and oceanfront balcony accommodations, all custom styled by the Ralph Lauren design team and featuring a collection of seashells that evoke the sensations of the sea. Unwind in style at the Seahorse Bar -- in the company of real seahorses -- and indulge with polished poolside spa treatments, followed by fine dining at the Atlantic Room.

Atmosphere was disgusting. The hallway had used plastic applicators for tampons, used Q-tips and other garbage just thrown on the carpet. Housekeeping never showed up one day and we were only there for 3 days. The attendants on the beach were helpful but the beach is public and there were many "sketchy" people there. Also, it was filthy. The food at the hotel was not edible. There were many Hasidic Jewish people at the resort so I'm not sure if the food was Kosher and I'm not used to that or if it just tasted awful. However, we had dinner there one night and NOT ONE OTHER person or family were in the restaurant. That should have been a sign something was not right. Also, the community I live in in New York has many Jewish people. People I respect and admire. So I AM NOT ANTISEMETIC! One last item - we went to the rooftop bar and ordered Pina Coladas. The young Hasidic bartender who was a woman did not know how to make them because they were disgusting and we were charged $50. I should have gone to the St. Regis but I was trying to be careful with money. People, don't cheap out on a vacation. It is never worth it! BTW, I tipped the housekeeping everyday $20. The person with the durag was just not normal. Who has people wearing durags cleaning peoples rooms? Sorry, thats not what I want to see. Also, I am not a rascist. As a New Yorker, durags are worn mostly by people that are suspect. It is what it is.

Slowest service ever! The reception desk staff was unhelpful and arrogant. The lobby was spacious but seating inadequate. The reserved presidential suite waiting area, that holds more seats than the rest of the lobby combined, was sitting empty while people were standing crowded against walls and pillars. The rooms (connected suites) were dated with cheap, basic toiletries, and instead of the ocean view advertised and payed for, we got a view of palm trees with some blue in between. Cleaning was subpar, with hairs left from previous guests. This place, staff, and service is all style and no substance.

They should be ashamed to call themselves a top star hotel

The hotel is beautiful and clean, the staff is wonderful and friendly. Etty made me the best glass of fresh orange juice for breakfast. Make sure to run down to the ocean for a swim and go to the sunrise yoga class 🌊🧘♀️
