The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort

Pro: This is an absolutely fabulous resort. Truly a class act in the hellscape of South Florida. Con: They completely ignor the Titanium Elite benefit of early check in and late check out. They did, however, give me a highly upgraded room. Except for the above mentioned early check in/late check out benefit, I would highly recommend every aspect of it.

Understated is not what comes to mind when thinking about this hotel, but fun is. My daughter and I stayed for a weekend and enjoyed the stay immensely, The lobby is decorated in the most garish Christmas and Hannukah decorations, but somehow this seems on-point in Miami. The staff is superb--from the front desk, to the servers doling out champagne and gelato all day long in the lobby (what a fun idea!), to the servers in the restaurants and the pool/beach attendants (all young kids, but handled themselves well). We had a great room as well with a massive balcony and ocean view. The room, to be honest, is showing a little wear from the humidity and salt air (things like the mirrors flaking at the edges and paint peeling on the ceiling in the shower), but these are minor points. The best thing about the place, however, is the location. The beach is beautiful and we both enjoyed swimming and just lounging around. We also did a fishing trip nearby, and enjoyed the reaction of coming into a lobby full of formally-attired folks while in bloody fishing clothes. The staff, to their credit, were uniformly gracious despite our looking a little ragged that afternoon. Would love to come back next year for a few more days.

The service is impeccable, staff is super friendly, and the hotel is clean. Beach service is top notch and they are very accommodating to kids. They even have activities for the kids like a petting zoo and slime making on the weekends. We had an amazing stay overall.

I had $1200 stolen from my backpack in my room. Didn’t think that would happen at a nice place like this. There are numerous 5 star properties on Miami Beach. Don’t stay at the St.Regis.

Exceptional in every way!!! From the minute you step into the property. We were treated like special guests, one of my favorite hotels. Amazing location, and customer service is everything!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!
