Walking into the property it has very nice artwork and has that air of pretension which I somewhat expected. So along with the rates I would expect certain communication from management which this review intent is to provide management with constructive criticism. I made the reservation the day of as I was in the area direct on the Marriott website and there was no mention of construction. On check in there was no mention of construction but was checked into an 'upgrade' on the 10th floor where there was construction to rooms across from our room in progress. When I mentioned via text to the request for "how is your stay going" I mentioned the issue and was told someone would get back to me and never did. Fortunately the noise ended around 6 and was not an issue for the rest of stay. But no response and thought this was highly unprofessional especially after next episode: eating at Colameco. The place is in dire need up a make over (place feel and looks cheap with bad lighting), and food &wine choices were highly mediocre. The worse part were cockroaches roaming our booth. I mentioned the cockroaches to the front desk and again nobody responded? Other small things in the room such as no wine opener / bottle opener and no real coffee cups and the electronics that operate the drapes were non functional. Again when calling in to have address they just told me the sheers were probably manual and again never responded, so I just forced the things open - very shoddy again for the room rates. One positive: The staff at the beach were great. So overall I've been to many fine hotels & resorts and so when it comes to the polish and pomp this place came up very short. My other general note about Marriott is I could have booked this reservation via AMEX platinum travel and would have had guaranteed late check out and daily credit, etc - but going direct with some Marriott status you get the 'maybe we can accommodate a later check out' but we'll see... and again got a bad vibe from the person I requested late checkout with. I did get a couple hour later check out but I regret not booking via AMEX vs direct which I find strange. And then overall I regret even staying here unfortunately.

We absolutely loved the St. Regis Bal Harbour! The service was above, & beyond especially at the beach, & villas! The place is beautiful with breathtaking views from our room! The only negative thing I can say about the whole place is the handicap door button to go to the pool did not work which made it very difficult for me & there was never staff to help with the opening. Also, it would have been nice to even have a handicap button to open the gate that goes to the beach. At least the one that goes to the ramp. Once, again there was never anybody around to help with the gate.

I am not sure where to start! From the moment of our arrival and all through our stay every single person in the hotel has gone above & beyond! We have been staying at this beautiful hotel for the last 12 years! Every single stay continues to make this more and more sophisticated and very special! Our 8 years old has been staying here since he was 10 days old!!! We fly from Kansas City to celebrate his birthday every single year at this beautiful property! Congratulations to all the leaders , the General mgr and the entire staff at this Beautiful Gem 💎. See you again soon in June!

Wife and I recently stayed here for our 25th anniversary and had a wonderful time. Staff was very attentive and nice. Food was great and experiencing the "Sabering" event in the bar at 6 pm was a cool experience! Kudos to Danny, Facundo, Steven, Veral, Khaled, Kathleen and Richard were excellent at their roles. We liked it so much we have booked a follow up trip in a few weeks. Cheers, DS

We have just stayed for two days after a cruise. We stayed at Ritz Carlton South Beach pre cruise for two nights which was a terrible experience (see my other review). St Regis was the polar opposite. This is an exquisite luxury hotel and from the moment you walk in - the ambience and tranquility is on a different level. The common areas are immaculate. The standard deluxe rooms are large and luxurious with huge ocean facing balconies. There is a family pool and also a quiet adult only pool. Breakfast was excellent. We loved this hotel and for not a dissimilar price point to Ritz Carlton - there really is no comparison. Highly recommended. We both agreed when we come back this is the only hotel we will stay at on Miami.
