Built on a mountain cliff side, the reception is on the 10th floor which is at street level. You take an elevator down to your room. Each room is spacious, has an ocean view and overlooks the swimming pool. The rooftop terrace offers spectacular views. Very nice beach and water activities. Service is impeccable And the food is great. Just an all around wonderful experience.

Absolutely stunning resort with breathtaking views and amazing variety of restaurants and activities. We went for our anniversary and were blown away by the experience. The staff and hospitality were exceptional. Arwin from the help desk/reception went out of his way to ensure we got the room that we liked and took care of us throughout, attending to every little request. Diana from the Kisik grill and Yoga from Dava grill were both very very warm and went out of their way to make our evenings special. Highly recommend 👌

FYI : We stayed at Rimba in March 2026. To explain the Ayana resort as a whole: 5 different hotels sit on a huge estate/block of land (about 2km x 2.5km), separated by beautiful gardens. Located about 30-40 mins drive south of the airport. There are various restaurants, bars, cafes, pools, beaches, sports facilities and shops at each of the different accommodation spots - with regular trams to transport guests between all of these. Overall there is a lot to do at Ayana. We stayed at Rimba, which is the cheapest accommodation option. We thought Rimba had the most beautiful reception area, and our room looked out over the bush/forest at the back of the hotel - private and great views. If we went again, we'd stay at Rimba. If you occasionally prefer to walk around instead of taking the tram (nice way to start each morning), there's a well-kept path that leads around the estate. Beautiful gardens, flowers, ponds, fish everywhere. To walk from Rimba to the beachfront at the main resort takes about 20 minutes. The food is outstanding - fresh, tasty - we had delicious + varied meals every day, starting with a la carte or buffet at the To'ge restaurant (within Rimba). The cost of the food - it's expensive by normal Bali standards - pretty much in line with what we're used to paying in Australia (perhaps a little less). The facilities and vibe of the entire place are great - it really is like something you'd see in the movies, and we were paying in the low hundreds per day for accommodation + food/drinks, not $1000+++ per day as you might at similar places in Hawaii or Dubai. What crossed my mind early on in our trip is the attention to detail - whoever planned all this has both a grand vision, along with superb attention to detail, and a great team maintaining everything - well done to everyone! This really enhanced our stay. As for facilities, there are a couple of minor limitations - for example, guests staying at the Villas have all-day access to their own large pool. Guests staying at other accomodation options have limited access between 6:30am - 9am only. Aside from that, guests have access to all other pools and facilities - we swam in every pool over the course of our stay, and they are fabulous! There's also a museum, a mini golf course played on real grass (nice way to pass the time, hard to explain - you'll have to Google it), and, again, plenty of gardens with bridges and lookouts. Outstanding facilities. Finally, and I've left the best to last - THE STAFF! The staff at Ayana were uniformly incredibly lovely and efficient! I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is best service I've received during any holiday in my whole life. Ayana's staff always go that little bit further to ensure you're ok - such as walking us somewhere (not just directing), checking we had enough food, ensuring we were happy with everything/anything, reminding us take an umbrella, personally checking that our luggage was on hand and our taxi was coming, and even standing with us when the taxi was delayed due to traffic, cleaning the room so nicely, providing us with extra water/toiletries, chatting away at the bar - I mean I could go on and on! If it sounds like I've just fallen in love - then the staff have everything to do with that! 😀 Special thanks to Yoga + Bagus, Satria, Sri, Bayu, Sinitia, Diuda, Marina, Senia and Yasa at the To'ge Restaurant! Jecky (and others, but especially Jecky!) at the Rimba reception! Reni (and everyone) at Sami Sami! Yunita at the golf course! Thank you!! 😀 You guys made our stay - I've told many people about your wonderful service, and we are already planning our next trip.

Having stayed at Ayana and Segara I can only say what a wonderful resort this is. The staff are exceptional. The food at the many restaurants Is the best I have had at any hotel anywhere. If you’re staying for while It’s wonderful to have three restaurants for breakfast you can choose from Example Segara, Rimba or Ayana. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The Gardens are amazing. There is so much to do at this hotel with a trolleys running all the time to take you anywhere around the resort, the beach to your hotel to restaurants, spa etc. Can’t wait to go back
