Conrad Bali

We booked a 2-night stay via AMEX Platinum to celebrate a birthday. Initially upgraded to a Pool Villa (SGD200++/night), but unfortunately had to switch rooms due to poor maintenance. The Pool Villa (room 1605) was disappointing: stagnant water features attracting mosquitoes, broken fittings, and stained outdoor areas. The floating breakfast arrangement was also confusing and time-consuming to arrange when the front office staff has no idea on the procedures. No checklist and menu was given as reference. We were then moved to an King Ocean Front Suite (room 1316), which was abit better maintained — spacious, with a living area, direct beach access, and a more comfortable stay overall. That said, the non-existence ‘Smart TV’ need to be replaced, and housekeeping was inconsistent: missing amenities like toothbrushes (we have to request for it every night throughout our stay) and the missing in-room beach bag, leftover cake not cleared until we checked out, and even requested pillow scents overlooked. Not forgetting that we’ve sat in the East Lobby Lounge for 15 minutes with no services and menu offered. On the positive side, the spa was excellent, and the travel desk staff went above and beyond to help us plan a short half-day tour together with a attentive driver who recommended us a local place for lunch. Special recognition goes to guest service - Eka Suminatha, whose thoughtful service truly stood out throughout our stay. He even remembered our itinerary and my birthday! Overall, while one staff delivered genuine Conrad-level hospitality, the resort itself feels poorly-maintained and dated. The beach front was inaccessible due to piled up rubbish and presence of sea urchins. The Pool Villa upgrade is totally not worth it. For similar pricing, nearby resorts like Kempinski or Grand Hyatt Bali may offer a more consistent luxury experience.

I have just returned from the most amazing wonderful stay at the Conrad Bali. What made my trip to Bali so fab was this hotel and its staff. The hotel itself is in a fabulous location right on the beach, the rooms are lovely, we had an executive lagoon room and it was perfect, the facilities and activities the hotel offer are great, but what made the stay so wonderful was how well the hotel is run and most definitely the staff, I have never come across such a welcoming, professional hard working staff group. A special mention to Cicilia Angelisca who looked after every arrangement I had and took such great care of us. It was a very special holiday for a birthday and retirement celebration and she kept in contact with me all the time and sorted out every plan and arrangement and activity that I had wanted. The communication was amazing and everything that we required she sorted immediately and went the extra mile to make it so special and memorable. I have never experienced customer care like it!! Also a mention to Nika who was equally attentive and friendly and both even communicated out of working hours and sorted everything. They are an absolute credit to Conrad hotels and the management of the hotel. All in all it was a 5 star experience and I can only commend everything about the hotel.

The staff were amazing. The people in Bali are kind, and the staff at the Conrad are beyond kind. They are extremely accommodating. All we had to do was ask, and they found a way to make it happen. Our suite was large and spacious. The room was cleaned twice per day. I played tennis with Coach Budi, is a lot of fun and encouraging. Cecilia is an amazing concierge. She helped me with so many arrangements, from getting me medicines to booking a day trip to Nusa Penida. As someone with a food allergy (gluten) I've never experienced so careful attention to food allergies and making accommodations. Chef Nusuda made me the most delicious soup. The staff at Suku remembered my allergy every morning for the most elaborate breakfast buffet. You can order off the menu as well. Don't miss the pool bar and Gelato. Yoga at the pool bar makes the best Spice-ade. We originally planned to travel around the island and stay at different hotels, but the Conrad was so wonderful, we extended our stay for the rest of our time in Bali. It was a great value and even better experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Conrad so very much. Everything from the wonderful and attentive staff to the beautiful room and the delicious food. We are already planning our next visit back

Great service , clean and well stocked rooms. Only thing needing improvement is the cleanliness of the swimming pools.
