Conrad Bali

We’ve just returned from a truly wonderful two-week holiday at this incredible resort with my wife and our two young boys, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything was outstanding, and we honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. Some highlights of our stay: Chris, our concierge, was exceptional. Always attentive and helpful, he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He even arranged for us to switch rooms on the morning of our departure so we could continue enjoying the facilities before our late flight—something we greatly appreciated. The staff were outstanding. Every single person we met was warm, welcoming, and wonderful with our children. Special thanks to the team at the Azure poolside bar and to Nata and Yoyuk in the lobby bar, who made us feel so well cared for. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the variety and especially enjoyed being able to order à la carte in addition to the buffet. Our drivers were fantastic. We used the hotel’s tour services and were so impressed by their professionalism and kindness, particularly with our kids—even in the midst of Bali’s famous traffic. A big thank you to Sukayasa and his colleague (whose name I regret forgetting). The dining was a real highlight. We tried all the restaurants as well as the buffet shows, and every meal was fantastic. Rin and Eight Degrees South were particular favorites, and the butter chicken at Suku was outstanding. Our room was lovely. We stayed in a King Deluxe Lagoon room, which was beautifully appointed. While it felt a little tight for the four of us, it was still fantastic. It would be wonderful if the hotel could offer sofa beds for families in the future, as our youngest ended up sharing with us. The grounds were stunning. The landscaping was immaculate, and it was such a treat to hire bikes and ride along the coastline. I especially loved my early-morning walks on the beach, watching the sunrise with my feet in the sand. Overall, we had an unforgettable holiday at Conrad Bali and were genuinely sad to leave. We’re already looking into when we can return—and hopefully it will be very soon!

This is a lovely hotel on the beach. We opted for a sea view room- not all the rooms have a balcony to sit out on. Rooms were large with ample storage space. Amenities were good. The hotel was full and so breakfast was very busy, a smaller restaurant was open for those over 12 to take breakfast. Public areas all very clean. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool and people trying to ‘save’ them was tackled by staff. We opted for the beach as it was much quieter but service was not so good. We ate at a themed dinner- the setting was beautiful but I thought it was overpriced for the quality of food. The sea was very busy with watersports.

What a fantastic property! Everything is high quality, and the staff is great. Nanta, who is the Conrad Curator, is exceptional. He is so friendly, professional and helped with many things (dinner and spa reservations, really any issues). I didn’t have any “issues,” but he proactively made sure everything was great about my experience at the hotel. A wonderful experience!

What a truly friendly, relaxed and well cared for hotel. Food was excellent, first class selection at the buffet and the beach bar team are incredible. Rooms are a good size and well maintained. Housekeeping again, excellent. I would maybe comment that more staff are needed for check in, as the wait times etc were a little long. Apart from that, I loved my stay at The Conrad

This is a really lovely hotel. Beautiful setting, right on the beach, pool area stunning & it’s meticulously clean. Staff are so attentive and helpful. We loved the cabanas which were perfect to relax in by the pool/beach for the day. The room was equally great, and had everything we could need. Very comfortable & so nicely decorated. Not tired or worn like a lot of big hotels. It’s easy to go out to the local restaurants, and we found some really great places to eat (very reasonable too). We had a perfect 4 nights here when we first arrived and it’s perfect for families (our children are aged 12 & 14). We saw some of the other hotels nearby & were really glad we’d chosen this one.
