Hotel Tugu Bali

Spent five nights in this lovely hotel. We arrived after midnight and it all seemed a bit dark at first but in the morning there was a completely new perspective of the hotel. The staff bent over backwards to make us stay enjoyable. Particular thanks to Sri who bent over backwards to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were amazing and dinner in both of the restaurants was excellent. Food was wonderfully presented and the service from the staff was exceptional. The hotel itself has a lot of interesting features and antiques with so much history behind it. You really felt that you were in Bali and not in some modern chain hotel.

I have to say the kindness staff in Bali. I hope I got the name right for Sri who was checking in us all the time during our stay, made our stay very special and personal! The vibe in the hotel is something, you feel like you are staying in one of heritage. Very unique. The location is perfect as it is located on Main Street and we enjoyed walking around and explored Canggu. Highly recommended! Would love to visit again to see beautiful people there!

Amazing experience at Hotel Tugu! Upon walking in your feel transported into a beautiful museum. Traditional balinese design and exceptional service create a serene and magical experience. We will be back!

No matter how nice the staff are and how good the food is, the endless noise from the renovation work (starting at 8 am, including on weekends) to the traffic from the road and music from the beach clubs into late into the night makes this place all but uninhabitable most of the time. And we were in one of the quieter rooms! The rooms themselves are quite comfortable though do note that they are depressingly dark (so don't worry when you see that there are no blackout curtains). I am sure that this place made quite an impression when it opened decades ago in "far away" Canggu but it has long since lost its standing as something special (much less 5 star).

Such a Gorgeoussss Hotel with beautiful artifacts, treasures in every corner. The most Polite Lovely & gracious staff!! Absolutely Every single employee were Wonderful! The shows were Amazing & our delightful Royal Tugudum Dinner & show was soooFantastic & Delicious!! So romantic & magical, just Unforgettable! Highly recommend this excellent hotel! Prime location too… Made our Wedding anniversary & my birthday so Memorable : ) So grateful I chose You, an exceptional Tugu Bali! THANK YOU for Everything Terimakasih!
